Thread: For us Old-Timers...
Dunno about this, but ever since the patch to fix us up to what we're supposed to be, now we're getting a lot of other professions jumping into our board....complaining, whining, calling for nerfs and what-not.
Don't you miss the days when we came in here and told our stories about how lame we were, what needed to be fixed, etc etc.?
I loved those days....now it's every player calling for Nerf and whatnot coming in here to start something. Oh well....
Just had to go nostalgic for once.....ah, the good old-days.
I dont care, the nerf spammers are a good release for all my frustration and I can cut loose and say what I want and who cares? most people on these boards agree with me anyway 
I'd rather have a release for my anger then repeated reminders of how much I suck.

It almost felt like a support group lol.
I know I'm not the only one who's noticed the recent influx of our population. Seems more like the bh or pistoleer boards now with the uber talk. I do miss the humor that helped most of us hold on.

Think of it this way. In the old days we'd moan and groan, tearing our hair out at the devs for leaving us impotent for so long, but now, we have a new foe... the nerf-bat jedi, a creature usually immature and unenlightened regarding the condition and surrounding events in the commando class.
Thus, we have a powerful weapon to deal with this threat....I'd like to call it the "Heavy Particle Beam Cannon of Facts, Deductive Logic, and Rational Thinking," or HPBCFDLRT for short. This weapon can only be wielded by a true commando, and has the power to one-shot any Rori bunny-like 12 year old whiner who steps up in PvP, stands in one spot at a distance of 10m, and expects not to get his sh1t ruined.
Thirty seconds of research will reveal the conditions and weaknesses of the commando class, which should, in most circumstances, cause the potential nerf-caller to re-examine his potential complaint. But, in cases, laziness, the main symptom of most commando nerf-herders,rendersthe aforementioned course of action useless. Under these circumstances, the HPBCFDLRT must be selected in the inventory, and used with extreme prejudice. If it is a hit, the would-be nerfer will be b1tch-slapped to Lok and back.
I find if I use Teras Kasi student I get fewer than 1 tell per hour. All my friends know, of course, that I am one of the biggest and the baddest. I also have some great memories about our boards. Nothing better than reading a post where someone absolutely lost it and it went off.. I remember one that read, "How a commando gets banned...." I was never able to find out just what the answer to that question was. There were others toofilled with what I assume to becussing and swearing that were soon closed. I remember our old leader, as he just could not stand another agonizing minute of that crap. I also think back to the days where someone posted that Commandos deserved the attention of the fully "functioning" CH..........Roflmao. It was sooooooo funny. That was back when everyone was running around with 3 rancors. Then there was me, petrified as a novice commando, I dared not go overt! It is hard to believe these guys today sending tells like "Train me in #%%%#(! Could someone please inform me when commandos actually got trained from a fellow player? I had to dropover 100k on training, and all that money on guns that I knew would be absolutely worthless. I then had to go and buy all new weapons after our fix that were gouged through the roof by people that never reached the novice commando level. Indeed, without these boards, I would not be what I am today. The only thing that kept me going was reading about other people.........out there on some other server.........that understood what I was going through.
