did you all see all that noise on bria - those cats are crazy over there lol. I guess everyone and there mother got banned for something or another - now its like they are trying to free mandella or ghandi again. ITS A GAME PEOPLE!! Im sorry - just kinda funny - its like a giant union strike or something, like "norma rae" all over again lol. Crazy.

What exactly happened? From what I've read a bunch of guys got banned. SOE unbanned a handful later.

Any threads relating to what happened seem to have been deleted.

Some highlight terms were WoW and a quote from Ep.IV/ANH.

something about cheating getting FRS stuff i guess - from what i heard they all got transported to lok at coords 0,0 and were banned. I also heard they all sent people to every starport and started spamming anti soe stuff. I guess the powers that be didnt like it to much and brought the hammer down hehe. Crazy kids. I think its funny.

They banned 90% of the Knights on Bria for FRS exploting. Several LARGE Guilds held a silent protest in Theed and were teleported to 0,0 Lok and frozen. They then reassembled in groups of 4 in EVERY starport spaming every 31 seconds that SOE was being unfair and unreasonable. So the CSR's suspended most of the members of these guild and banned the leaders. But yesterday, they unbanned most of the jedi and all of the guilds that protested.

Wow, since they have that kind of power you'd think they could actually do their jobs. Kind of drastic measures I would say for protesting. Totalitarian Dictatorships act the same way.

I have heard that all the major jedi and most of FOE , LSW and FBI have been unbanned. The only one that i don't know about is Sokah and it is because of his hard work and persistance that they are getting unbanned.

These are times when I am glad I play on test center.

Those CSRs should come on over to Chilastra and drop the anvil on a few of our exploiting Jedi...

For those who really were exploiting, and consequently whined about it, I have no sympathy for them...as a great deal of the "uber jedi" on our server...are jerks. Dont get me wrong, there are some cool jedi out there, but the powergamers who draw alot of attention to themselves or do these kinds of things (exploiting, spam/lag protests...which btw, they're ruining the game for OTHER ppl...) to me are just jerks.

But the CSRs do get overzealous at times, and do go overboard...no doubt alot of innocents were banned, so its good that they repealed a number of them...

they may feel justified in their protest, but if they would act like jedi we wouldnt have situations where the scale has to be reset anyway.

I have to say, Bria is what made me jump to TC and i love it here. There is too many bad eggs on Bria and it has hurt theserver.
