Yeah I don't even use my flamer in pve and am considering dropping to 0440 since that's all you need for pvp. Even when hiding behind a friends pet sneaking up to that krayt to hit with a flamer special is still too risky.

It's a shame to lose a vetern to something like this.

I just remember the pistol xp launcher pistols and heavy weapons that were non existant for the most part. If you were lucky enough to come across the occasional flamer/har it sucked worse than a basic laser rifle. Double bleeding mobs then tagging with the gimpy flamer and running while it bled to death ah those were the days.

Some think this melee fiasco is good to weed out all the wagoneers leaving those who did have the true grits to stick it out all along. It's just a shame that this finally broke you

It seems commando is falling into the realm of secondary prof again.

Dude, that sucks. And on the secondary profession thing... exactly, thats what they want us to be, a secondary profession. You can't just be a commando, they want you to be a commando and <insert profession here> which is absolute BS, considering we barely have enough SP left to master another base level profession.

Gotta agree that I hate to see masters drop out due to this nerf. We will have plenty of weeding out once people get their holocron I believe. Losing people because they are not having fun in the profession is just crummy.

Been there from the beginning, but my trip out to Dantooine was the topper....mobs were doing roughly 700-800 damage per shot no matter what I was fighting, so I said that's it and dropped commando completely...good luck getting fixed again.

Man,all the guy wanted to was spend his free time having a little fun pretending to be master elite soldier, and in one fell swoop, they manged to kill his enjoyment...that truly SUCKS! I hope whoever is pleased by this takes a good look and sees who is truly getting hurt the most here.

Ya, I would have probably stayed if I had the freedom to have been able to cover myself more by getting more support classes to go with master commando, but it wasn't possible....Oh well....

hehe. I turned in my Master commando tags today.

Maybe I come back....When they make it fun to be again....

And when my pardner goes tired of BH....I follow my pardner on this..BH this time...*sigh* I'm just another BH........darn...thats depressing.."Master Commando to just another Bobba wannabe"....oh well...maybe some day..

All I have to say to this is bye bye and one thing the Commando's around here really need to do is change your tactics holding your flamethrower all the time is no longer the right thing to do. We have other weapons use them. Just cause the Flamer does the most damage doen't mean it is the right one all the time. I noticed you have Novice CH and TKA why didn't you let you pet tank while you flame 2 it then get into hand to hand with a knockdown or something else like adding a health shot bleed to the mob?

What mobs were you fighting? Saying that I alway got hit for 400 to 700pts is one thing saying that it was a Dark Jedi Adept is another as of course you would die as they are some real hard core mobs and something you shouldn't go toe to toe with unless you have a Graul and even then that pet gets hurt.

Yep I have no sympathy for any commando who bails on the profession.

If you really want to be a Commando then you'll learn to adapt to the changes that happen to this profession and look at the overall picture.

I started Commando when it was broken, mastered it after this latest patch. I'm still having a great time. Sure I get hit harder sometimes, others I do just fine. I haven't seen any real problems that changing my tactics up a little bit couldn't help. Oh well, guess some people don't like setting things on fire as much as I do. Just for fun, when I do buy it, I don't clone until whatever it is that killed me burns to death, for a bit of personal satisfaction of seeing their corpse right beside mine and know that I got em in the end.

Is Commando this bad? I'm asking this because on TC you may now have 3 characters. I'm working up two more characters, one Bounty Hunter, one Commando. Please don't tell me Commando is this horrible in combat. The main reason Commando interested me was because of the use of grenades. Using grenades just sounds...fun.
