Im pretty new to commando and have been spending much time trawling this forum for hints, tips and advice.
And over all, i have come to this conclusion:
GARVIN ROX!!!
He is by far the best, most dedicated, and perservering correspondant i have ever encountered. He has stuck by the (incredibly hard) task of finding out what commandos want and making sure that we get heard.
I think we should all leave a message of thanx to the world's best correspondant!

hehe...Yes, I'm not even a commando anymore...haven't been even a novice commando since this time last year. Though I love my boy Tanks,I alsolove reading the commando forum because of garvin. You can tell he still has a passion for this which is excellent.

The most dedicated corr I ever met on these forums. At least from judging by his posts.

Thanks for the praise...Don't know if I'm fully worthy or not...I don't honestly feel like I go above or beyond what you'd all expect from me...I love being a Commando...I love our profession and everything I do I'd still do even if I wasn't the Correspondent (I just wouldn't have access to the same info I have now)...And a lot of Correspondents work just as hard in my book...
The web site is something I've been kicking around for a longtime and felt, with this down time in info flowing to and from the Devs (they are so JTL focused at the moment) that it was good timing...I've been working so hard on it that I haven't even gotten in game in about 2 weeks (wonder how my houses and harvestors are doing...lol)...I'm still in shock that since Friday we've shot up to 80 members on the site...wow...I'm probably going to start publishing Web Site reports in our forum with site update info each week....
All of the thanks I need for any hard work I put into being the Commando Correspondent will come when the Revamp finally gets here and we get all the good things we deserve...
But since it's a sort of Garvin love fest in here, I figure I need to respond with something worthwhile...so let's see...what type of hint can I give today...How about this for a hint and a tie in to the new Web Site (link in my signature)...I'm asking you to pick 1 of the 3 butsoon the choice will become a mute point...Ok...that's pretty cryptic, but if you think positively you'll get what I mean...

Who'd win ina Fight? Garvin or Coach Ditka, usually I would go with Ditka but as it turns our Garvin is Ditka's protoge Offspring so we can't compare. I will put it to you this way. Who'd win in a fight, Garvin or God. Trick question! Garvin IS GOD!......sorry
couldn't resist.
Garvin the reason why alot of people have alot of respect for you is because of many thing's. For some it's dedication, for some it's Sound Reasoning, for Some it's the all the hard work and your accumulated knowledge. For other's like myself it's all of these combined that receives respect. Garvin is all of these and I have quite a bit of respect for him (which is odd, for I've never met him in any way) I've said time and again to my friends "the book of people that I respect is very thin".

Garvin has a lot of great qualities.
One is persistence, in following through on our demands and taking them to the Devs.
Another is patience, which he needs by the bucketfull to deal with us and our demands.
Not only that, he's like the midget green frog yoda dude (heh)...he speaks in riddles...

Golum was a semi-green midgit (depending on the LOTR film) that spoke in riddles to you know.
