You know, we'll probably never be fixed either.
Hell, it'll probably only be a few weeks before some dev decides we're overpowered as is, and we get nerfed again.

so i was replying to another post and got to thinking...
in these times where jedi are more common than dirt, and i cant walk around in theed without seeing some sort of lightsaber battle going on, what dont we really see any more?
commandos, thats who. granted, i occasionally run into other commandos, and sometimes a fellow master, but its never in town or out and about. it's usually down in some cave or at the far end of some planet (dath doesnt count because of force grinding) helping their buddies kill some monster that has been redesigned to only be killible by a full group of regular professions (or one jedi).
real commandos are more rare than jedi these days. im not talking about the ones who master field tactics 4 so they can FS grind, or the ones that grab a few trees to supplement their bounty hunter skills. i mean the master commandos who only have one or 2 other elite professions in their profile. the ones who became commandos in 2003 and have yet to drop a single box.
i wonder how many of us have taken on true jedi traits in the course of our gaming? fighting mostly in solitude; offering assistance when someone needs some help (or some real firepower); representing a cause and an ideal that has long been forgotten by the general population; using weapons and tactics that most people just dont understand, and could never have.
once, to duel a commando meant instant death. i lived in solitude back then, because everybody wanted to try and take me on. (really i dont understand that whole PvP thing). it was a 30 minute walk to my house. now its a shuttle ride and 1 minute by speeder. but the symbolism is still there.

so is it possible? are we commandos living lives the jedi are supposed to? im sure there are more similarities than the ones ive put down...
what do you all think?

I think we need to revisit my idea for post master commando skills/quest

I love the smell of burning creature flesh in te morning. Just recently finished master commando, now working on Smuggler. The Commando firepower coupled with the speacials of smuggler should prove fun to play with. I think I'll be keeping this proffession for at least the forseeable future.
Any commandos interested in some friendly pvp, I am on eclipse, send galio a tell or mail.

Nah, the real Jedis are theMaster Rangers. Good luck if you want to find one

I think you are right we do live the lives of the Jedi. At least I do, and it sounds like you do too. Then again maybe the rest of the Master Commandos like us should get together on our servers and start our own hunting groups. Just a thought.

There are other commandos on Bloodfin?!
IGN - RagNoRock, im typicaly running around overt in starportskilling non-jedi and not giving jedi the satisfaction of a fight

Lol my sister was a master ranger when she played. She always had the title on and refused to change it. We had to give her credit for being one of the only people we've ever known to master it, keep it as long as she did, and really enjoy it. She even had another master ranger come up to her and salute her just because they're so rare lol.
