Yes you, my fellow Mdef/MLS brethren. Has anyone faced and defeated -Ionias- on the Bria server in the last 30 days? If so can you give me some details. He is the only BH I've lost to since FT (full temp) and I'm looking for advice. He's MBH/MCM with high resist armor that is AB sliced. His MCM skills prevent me from doing enough damage to take him down. I can't drain his mind very much and his action, although not as good, is pretty solid. My saber is 517-621 dmg with 114 sac. His electrolyte drain and thyroid rupture negates my force speed and his uber heals can out pace my damage no problem. He shakes off my roots and KD's pretty quickly. He's even been able to knock me down then when I get up knock me down again right away. His DOT's tick off about 500 dmg every 10 seconds and his proton carbine gets through my aura and valor for about 300 pts of damage every 3 seconds. I've heard all the "get his mind/action down then kd, power attack and head hit for the db (with armor break being constantly applied)" or the "make sure you eat the right foods and use a PSG" suggestions. I'm doing all those but I've still lost to this guy twice. With his sliced armor, AB doesn't allow my power atack and head hit to do anything near the damage I would need to kill him. I may not be a PVP God but I'm not a n00b either. I've beaten several BH's, dueled many and gone SF on several occasions. He told me he created his temp specifically for Mdef/MLS and that the only temp that gives him problems is Mpowers. I can't help but think this guys is unbeatable with my current temp. I'm hoping someone with a similar temp can prove me wrong.

Sorry, I'm MLS/MDEF but on the Tempest server. The only toon I have on Bria is 'eats-cats'. Made him the night before we were supposed to go live with JTL. Guy at the game store was vulneable to the mind trick.

Don't know what to tell ya man I made a Master Powers template that I made spicifically to defeat the FOTM temps IE yours. The only thing I can tell ya is to thin about what he did to beat you & study it like he did your template find a weakness or even a tendancy in his play-style.

also try starting off the fight doing lower level attacks while keeping up on yru aura a & heals then turn around when yrou all recharched root him & then unload with yoru high level attacks. Personally with my temp I like to fight with my improved force run on for the first min er so then turn it off & pawn the opposition.

Its really all abotu tactics man when fighting someone like this you really have to treat it like a REAL fight... You can't jsut throw the same 1-2 punch in a fist fight over & over & expect to win. Change it up mix & match different comboes so he doesn't know what to expect from you & save yoru most powerfull for when yoru ready & he's comfused.

those cm specials use some mind so jus forget the ab and focus on poundin on him, ur gonna need a lower sac/fc saber to do this if u can. they run outa mind and u win. normally i try to do something like head hit leg hit, saber throw, power hit. on nubs this is death but since he's not a nubby it'll jus keep him healing and using mind.

I was just referring to the crappy title you have, if you really want people to respond give them an idea about what you are talking about in your post title, not something as vague as hey you. Also youd have better luck with this if you posted it in your servers forum.

ur temp wasnt exactly built to tank and destroy this temp like somany others, but u can beat if if u adapt to the situation, which u FotM's r not really known for...

P.S. try combining MP with MLS and enh 2xx3/nov healer, lets c u pull ur tank and destroy with that, it takes more than aura/valor/foods to win a fight, it takes tactics
