Yeah, I've been gone for six whole months. The game has been out for almost 10 months now. I've been playing for a week now.

Guess what? Yeah, burned through ALL the new content in less than a week. Whew. So hard.

I mean, new badges (took 1 day), vehicles (cash), a few new dungeons (yippe!), and mounts. Phew!

Improved purpose of the GCW: F

Yeah. Just wander on over to that forum. It's pathetic. The entire civil war is a joke and utterly pointless. On top of that there are soooo many bugs it's an utter travesty.

Seriously, I just read every stickied post in every professions forum.

Is there a day you are going to pull your heads out of your asses? Every class has legitimate complaints of problems that have been around for ages.

Worse is the patented answer to wait until the combat revamp comes out and yet no details on that.

And I'm well aware of your "revamp". You've been working on it since day 1. It's why our previous correspondant quit. Talking to your combat designer was like talking to a wall (no insult to walls). Basic nod at what you have to say and continue with what he is working on.

It's really not that hard of a concept guys. Guns should work. Classes should work (cough Squad Leader). There should be pros and there should be cons to everything.

Making Master should make a huge difference.

Do you buy armor from a novice armorsmith? No? Why? Oh, there's a huge difference in quality eh?

So why are the hybrid classes so hosed? A master Commando isn't all that better than just flame4.

Why is it that the problems I wrote about in NOVEMBER are still valid eh? Yeah and most of them are from day 1 as well.

It would appear only 3 have been fixed. WHAT?
1. Har (skills work although gun still sucks)
2. Beta Titles (gay half assed job btw)
3. Fixed melee penalty.

Seriously, I am completely disgusted with the management of this game.

Not a single person on my friends list still plays after 6 months. And we are all die hard gamer addicts. Oh and I have 30 people on my friends list.

So, once again I'm pulling money from SOE. I'll keep an eye on things to see if they get a clue.

But I doubt it. Carbiner, Pikeman, Commando, and Squad Leaders are still standing around wondering exactly what their job is supposed to be.

Not to mention the entire jedi lie (yeah...right...anyone could have been a jedi..cough..till we put in this code..).
At least I have UT2004 to take my frustrations out on.

I paid for a month. I'll hang round till they kick me out.

But it's the principle of the thing.

I'm not paying to be told I'm being listened to when blatantly I'm not.

I do love you guys and enjoy the people who play the game.

Sadly, the game just gets old when you only get shafted.

If I wanted to snipe I can play lots of other better implemented sniper games.

This game is totally lacking, Ivona your totally right, I still can't figure out why I play at all. I guess I need to get into another game. Any suggestions?

Hey Ivoni, good to hear from you again. I restarted my account a couple weeks ago and found the exect problems you mentioned above. At the current rate at which the Devs are "fixing" the game, I'm thinking maybe another YEAR and this game might be worth a crap. If you get bored with the UT04 I'd suggest you try Dark Age of Camelot, fun game with decent pve and fun RvR endgame.

If you think the game stinks so much why even bother? If I don't like a game I get the hell out of there as fast as I can, not sticking around moaning about it.

Clearly the game isn't suited for you when you don't like it. Why even bother?

You can call me crazy but I like this game more than any game right now, and has since the day I got it. There are thousands of games I don't like.

We're all a little crazy....we survived those 6 months you were gone!

Ahh well...i got a business to manage...haven't been on my commando (chilastra) for about 2 weeks now...

Plus i got my xbox and movie marathons running while blasting some krauts on Call of Duty (BRITISH COMMANDO!! BLOODY YAH!)...thoo..my movie selection is starting to run dry...

*runs off to find more movies*

Hope things really start turning around by the time SE comes out...at least the forums are readable by non-payers too Farewell, again, Ivoni!

Edit: btw..woo! 1800 post... - and..lol...theres a 99% surefire the devs prolly didnt even know you came back OR even saw this post....alot less devs are posting since the general forum was taken down ("busy" working on stuff..yet that was 2 publishes ago i believe...and we haven't really seen anything..cept even more lack of communication -- relying on TH doesnt cut)
