Hey guys, some of you in bria might know me as the rude master rebel commando since i wont train anyone in the commando skills.. except my apprentice Demitree..... who i decided to help out. Before i go on to my question, it seems there's a myth going around about commando's soloing at-st. Let me put the myth to rest.. There is not one class or one race that can solo an at-st. That's just life. Now onto my rebel friends i got a question..........

I pvp often, and when i get slayed, i seem to loose a lot more faction points that 80% of the ppl i db do, which at the mostc i get 15, but more often than not, i get 6. Now i lose around 35-50..... or so....... My rank in the rebel army is Warrant Officer I. I was wondering, if is it because of my rank that i loose so much fp, and that the higher the rank you go, the less fp u loose? or is it the other way? Any and every imput greatly appreciated it.

No thats just the way it is. If I where you I wouldnt worry at all about faction its like 10 measily points. I can make 600-700 in an hour on missions, in fact I dont even waste my time doing dbs anymore unless I am solo.

I've soloed At-st's - Flame2, good quality armour, good quality stim packs, a bag of luck and a bit of smart thinking are all you need. I too lose lots of fp, generally seems to be -35.

Thank you for ur input guys, but my question still remains.... do I loose that much faction points because my rank is too high? or is it too low?

I'm guessing its based on how 'tough' your char is seen to be, the same thing that works out if you get lvl25 faction missions or not. I'm not sure though.

higher the rank, more faction points you lose.

If you can ever get close enough to an AT-ST to hit it with a FS2, it'll eventually die if its owner can't find any water to dunk it in. I don't think that qualifies as 1-shotting, since the commando will certainly end up dead before the AT-ST, giving the owner plenty of time to take a swim.

If there's no water, or if the owner gets chain incap'd the AT-ST is out of luck.

Well, I hit an AT-ST last night with flame 2 and the fire only took half its life before it was out. I was incapped too. You might COULD solo one, but you would need great armor, great stims with enough medical use skill, and I don't think you would stand there and take it like a real commando would. You would run in, hit flame, run away like a scared little girl, then come back after the fire wore off. Atleast thats how i see it. If you had a tank to take the aggro, then it is not hard to stack some flames and watch it fall.

I can solo anything in the game that isn't another player, krayts, AT's, doesn't matter. Takes time, work and a plan, but doable if you don't mind taking some risks. Players are another matter entirely, they think.

Sorry but FS2 wont keep a fire dot on long enough to 1 shot a full healthpc ATST. Its a myth, itll drop it down to 1/4 or 1/3 health at the most.
