Thread: Is it really that hard to fix Devs?????

This is getting ridicolous.... is it that hard to fix us?


Now what was left of the GCW is dead aswell, everyone and their mother is afk grinding faction and placing bases at a great speed.. so no point in taking bases, as two new ones will be placed soon after. Seeing faction numers on most planets way over the 400s, and its going up all the time.


No, my account is still cancalled and my time isrunning out.. I deleted my alt account in a little rage the otherday.. when our team was jumped by 15 or so Jedi.. yeah.. gotta love that, the rarest career ingame is now the most common.. way the go Kotor online. Afk xp grind allover, with little or no fear of being attacked.


this game is mismanaged.. guess they are to busy saving EQ from the Horde..

new thing is now Jedi that use cloak, and have base takedown capabilities...



Fun to see that hard earned expensive SF detachement HQ go boom from that.. aint it..

Everquest has its seperate developers and bug fixer-upers.

I think there's only like 20 Devs. I mean they work is just pitful. Lag is so bad for me after this publish I can barely play anymore.



Oh yeah and why the hell hasn't Commando been fu*king fixed!



Is it possible to Sue? I pay you SOE to fix Bugs. And if you don't fix any Commandos Bugs soon I say we do something cause this ain't right. It's one thing to suck, and be rather useless, but Commando is god damn broke and worthless pretty much.



I'm seriously thinking about throwing in the hat. The Corvette is messed with overspawnage. I can't really use anything from Commando, not even the weapons.



You were suppose to fix us you god damn little SOBs! I really don't think of anything SOE as quality anymore. Heck it's become like ACME in the Old Looney Tunes to me.



What happened to where you were gonna fix up all the CU problems and Bugs. You guys have barely fixed anything. Dungeons and sh!t won't keep us, because wow there so many bugs and useless Professions that people aren't gonna give a damn.

Seriously that's going to be the only part of this game left soon. People will only play the game to be a Jedi or stay as Jedi. You will then lose thousands of folks. In fact you already are. Yes you have a steady supply of New Players. But ya know what they get so damn frustrated that they quite after5 months or so unless they are on their way to Jedi.



Ya know what I'm thinking about writing to GL. SOE you are mis-representing Star Wars. This is an RPG. Not free for all Multi-Player PvP.


Don't act like you can't do nothing about it.


This is suppose to be a virtual re-creation of the Star Wars Universe set somewhere in the time of after the firstDeath Star's destruction. Do we move forward in time? No, it just doesn't work.



Look it one thing to have Jedi, but it's another when they become common. The damn point of Episode III I thought was that all the Jedi were damn near killed. Save a very select few.



What the hell is this?



Jedi are everywhere. Every Server I bet has at least 6000 Jedi. Outrageous. That's more then there were during the Clone Wars.



And so you make the Commando Profession nothing. More Commandos exsist in SW then Jedi ever did!


Well maybe not, but there were always damn powerful. You guys have and are ruining Star Wars more and more. You should be ashamed of youselves. Oh that goes for Jedi too. If you know anything about Star Wars, you know that you should really not be a Jedi in this time period.


If I'm talking to mean for you too bad!


You don't care when you boot everyone else out of stuff. You always screw you too!

I find it very ironic that on just about every patch that has come out since P 9, Jedi has been the main focus.. one class has gotten the attention of the developers... that goes for good and bad.. (this is not an attack on any Jedi... but SOE..)


The commando class was once deemed to powerfull and got nerfed beyond beleif when they introduced armor mitigation.. wow that was a joke.. when from powerfull PvPers to that laughing stock of the game... and that lasted until the CU... alot looked really nice.. but we soon saw the facts once the hype of the CU was over and we started testing the career in different situations...


Why are we ignored?


I see many many good posts on these forums that state easy and quick ways to fix this class.. but they seem to be ignored... there is no word from any developers, and there never has been..


1. We are a hybrid Melee/Ranged career.. meaning we should have defence that will allow us closecombat with any career.. including Jedi..


2. We should have DAMAGE specials added to our career, and they should be Commando spesific!! meaning a rifleman should not be able to use them.. some specials should be able to cross trade with other classes, but the damage specials of commando, should only be usable by say proton or flamer.


3. Fix or get rid of the AoE... noticed the Jedi AoE force powers got fixed fast... wonder how long we must wait..


4. Timers on grenades? Whats up with these insane long timers on nades?


5. Melee, atleast one of our skillstrees should be for a melee weapon.

Had me wondering, I got some books I looted on Kashyyk that Im sure Ive seen In EQ hehe.. "tombs".


Even so if we have so many developers that are SWG only, they should stop adding holograms and start fixing the game.

That just got me thinking...

If you look at the servers, and the number of folks who play...I'd reckon *at least* a third by now are jedi. Back during the clone wars there were thousands of jedi, I bet we have tens of thousands atm.

I hate to say it, but my year-and-a-half old Commando...just made Jedi. I guess I'm banned from this forum now.


I have two other FS toons to turn into Jedi. The next unlocked toon will be another commando. Figures I got a proton rifle from a Guildie the day I became a Jedi.

Just seeing a massive change in this game, that had to come sometime. Hard to tell the future, but if there is a SWG in a years time Im sure that over 50% of the player mass will have a Jedi aswell as their other toons... meaning the most rare career, is now the most common.


They should really add advanced careers other then the Jedi..


How about a Space Marine, Advanced career for Commandos?
