The Proton Rifle is the best HW I've used to this point. I've hit a non-Defender Jedi with it (after MANY misses & blocks) for 1600 with AdvCritical several times, including one hit at 2k. It took a LONG time to get, an uber slice PR and awesome Pups, but you can do it. Is it practical everytime? No. In fact, the most I did Vs a MDef was 600 or so. Template: Mcomm / MBH / Smuggler
Grenades are good for the states, not much else IMO.
Max damage for crafting that can be reached with Heavy Weapons (Cl54) is 1148 damage, rifles is 1184 (ironic no?).

Well,
1; With Carbine skill full auto area, used to work perfect with a Rocket Launcher.
2; What weapons are CL 54? I know the plasma FT, and the proton rifle, and I think the Heavy Acid Rifle.. is that is? The Heavy Acid Rifle the only weapon that reaches 65 meters.

Not only is their max greater, we get raped on the SAC as well.
Nothing like 30-40 points of SAC difference to make the Rifles THAT much better than ours....

You will have to excuse an old man for all his bothering. Just wanted to make sure everything was as I hope it would be. StarNick, by your own ambition and responce, I think you have turned me to your commando ways. I shall be a Master Commando/Master Carbine/ 4000 CM. And I shall join you all in the battlefields=)
