Hey guys does anyone know where to start the proton rifle quest? Is it a rare loot from somethin? Is it a quest that I can do by myself, or do I need a group? Thanks a bunch guys

Its a random loot item off of NK-Necrosis in the myydril caverns. the Proton Carbine is the quest item from the ryyatt trail, easier to get and sadly 50-60 more DPS =/

NK its means Grevius cyborg prootype ... he can hadle 2-blade LS

proton rifle have more damage then carbine .... DPS... its mean for noobs only....

Heh no idea, but the rifle doesn't have a whole lot on the carbine with max damage. DPS does make a difference, and you can still get a few more shots off.

This is especially important to us, since the carbine has a 85 SAC and our PR has around a 125...

The Proton rifle is in general a crap shooter ATM

Stick with PFTs, HARs and LBCs.

If it even fired though... so no choice but to stick with the AoE weapons. Mine still isn't firing... is it working for some people now?

When I see it I'll believe it. I'd like to see the patch notes for that Empire Day content they already have on TC. Hearing there wasn't any smuggler slicing changeyetand haven't heard if the Proton rifle is working there or not.
