The HPBC does the trick, since rarely will any mob line up so that the shot goes straight through them all hehe...

Not really a cone per say, just a line that keeps going until like 64 meters

I'd bet the devs coded it as a 2-3 degree cone. Quick fix engineering....

My main weapon in a group so as not to be an aggro magnet is the HPBC.

I don't think the HPBC even goes out to 64m, though in my opinion it should.

It's bugged in one way or the other, mainly either it lists AoE but doesn't have it or the AoE isn't functionening.
And now a few calculations. The HPBC wasn't as "wide" as I thought first. A 1 degree cone will yeld a 1.12m wide cone at 64m, 2 degrees will yeld 2.23m and 3 degrees will yeld 3.35m, that's wide enough to not be considerd "a straight line". A 0.1m wide cone at 64m would have 0.09 degrees so my guess is they use 0.1 degrees for the HPBC, which yelds 0.11m at 64m.
Nice calculations. I'm guessing that the .1m measurement was done through some testing

I belive it's even narrower then that. 2-3 degree cone will be wide at 64m range. I belive it's only like 0.1m wide at 64m, and when I find the formula, I'll do the calculations.

Well, I just used basic trigonometri and either using the "wideness" distance or the angle and calculated the other one. Not sure how to translate the name of the formula but it's something with cosinus....... and looks like this: a²=b²+c²-2bc*cosA
