Thread: Commando or Smuggler?

I can get either one and don't know which to get. The Commandos are really strong and have really good weapons; the smugglers can spice and slice and have pistol specials (i am also a pistoleer i need some help deciding.

anything interesting, you mean other than the boring combination of smuggler and commando you would already have ......

to go with pistoleer what would be better?
dirty fighting 4 for smuggler?
or novice commando for the launcher pistol cert?
so temp will be

or

Smuggler, the feign death is good, as is panic shot to keep mobs from circling you while you kill one. The launcher pistol is nice, but pistoleers have lots of alternatives in dmg type.

I have done both (ok I was a master smuggler but I am only a 4440 commando right now) and I have to say that smuggler was a lot more fun in my opinion. The launcher pistol is fun butits graphics irritate anyone near the target. But if you want to piss off some TKA's...

Definitely go DF4 in smuggler. Way more useful than novice commando. I must admit though, when I did commando for a holo grind, I had some fun-lots of satisfaction in blowing things upand I was sorry to leave it for my next grind. I may go back to it. But I agree with Gandolfini, the launcher gets seriously annoying after the novelty wears off, and the smoke and shaking will make you crazy after awhile heh.

I'd suggest going for the DF line in Smuggler. Commando requires many more skillpoints, and all it gets you is a weapon cert. Smuggler though gives you cool specials, and if smugglers get their wish a weapon cert of their own, (plus you can slice your own containers). Andif you're willing to sacrifice a total of 8 points from tka (I assume not pistoleer if you're trying to be a pistol specialist) then you can get both.

well thanks every, im now tkm/master pistoleer/ master smuggler
was just going todo the DF4 in smuggler but thre slicing and spices help me earn some money
looks like it was a land slide in favor of DF4 anyway...... poor launcher pistol

This month alone i've had master pistoleer/ mastersmuggler and master pistoleer/ master commando.
Personally, i think they both sucked in respect to what they offered pistoleer, but smuggler is the better of the two if the choise is laucher pistol against the smuggler specials.
