Here's my method, it's worked great for me.

Go to Rori, I perfer the Rebel Outpost.

Ungrouped you can get Leviasquall missions difficulty 25. Get two missions.

Then group with your weakest pet. I have a CL8 Lesser Dewback. (This will give you 400 extra Heavy Weapons XP per kill).

Do both of those missions, you should get 13k per missions, so 26k per run.

Just remember when you goto get more missions to ungroup first. If you don't the pet will make you get alower level mission, which gives you less XP). I hope this helps, please leave your feedback here.

Doesn't have to be a critter, could be a droid ora trooper. It's the act of grouping that gives the better xp.

not a commando

just troling. but i use a mouse droid they work great and have one of the lowest dificulty lvls you can get. On top of that they are very cheap and dont tke up a creature slot in your datapad

How to kill a Leviasquallwith the minimal of hasslein7 easy steps:

Find a lone leviasquall

Open fire with shots from the flamer

When the target reaches 20m switch to a pistol

Use supression fire

Apply a flamer special of choice

Stand up and move away from the critter

Wait 5 seconds and it'll drop dead if it hasn't already

Yea I said the word 'Pets' is that really a problem? You don't have to be a Creature Handler to use a CL 8 Pet.

1. No Problem talking about pets, since your actually talking about COMMANDOS getting more Heavy Weapons XP.

2. Just to clarify:

Are you saying that for each one of those animals I kill, I will get 13000 Heavy Weapons XP?

I'm not sure about the numbers are your missions, but I do missions out of Dathomir and I'm getting 30k Heavy weapons XP each mission!!!

Brackaset Lair's Mission (7kto 8k payouts per mission)

3000 to 3100 Heavy Weapons XP per kill

300to 310 Combat XP per Kill

There is at least 10 creatures per Lair to kill +++ you can loot for Armor Attachments to sell and make even more credits

Please Note:I am a Creature Handler 4-4-0-0- so I group my Graul Mauler and equip my FlameToy when selecting missions...

No I'm sorry on each mission I get 13k Heavy Weapons XP.

The missions on Dath sounds great but I surrender my Master CH skill so I don't think I could take out a Brackaset lair alone.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but before the patch, this was pretty much the only way to get any line of commando.

forgive my ignorance, but i didn't know that you got considerable extra xp for being grouped. how does it work exactly? say im using a mouse droid, i forget what level they are, but whats the percentage like?

any other details for the uninitiated?

I got 800k of heavy weapons xp on Dath killing Gaping spider hunters and ancient rancor bulls in 12 hours as a 1 0 4 4 commando with 1 2 0 4 CH and grondii, as well as 6k of dath insect meat and 12k of leathery hide to sell. No missions, just kill everything in your path.
