I just wonder. Being a female character, I also need advice on how to properly accessorize with a flamethrower.

But I do think it would be cool if the graphics lag on commandos was brought under control (this is a huge problem it seems. My launcher pistol isn't as effective as my DX2 simply because I have to wait for the graphics to process. Sure, it's nice but I think I can imagine the little rockets firing well enough.) I also think commandos should be able to make their own weapons.

accesorize? I always go with Blue composite. Padded armor looks pretty cool though, just make sure you get a good armorsmith to make it, not many have proper resources.

Oh, padded armor, definitely.

With a good kinetic layer for when those nasty critters come up to you before they burn to death, padded armor covers most of the types of damage you'll be facing in PvE, and it's less encumbering than composite, so you actually have the change to wear a full suit with no buffs or only minimal mind buffs without paying through the nose. Plus, you can make it with bright colors, unlike the duller composite armor. My personal favorite, which I'm going to have to replace soon, is a white suit with purple panels.

The first time I saw this armor was back when I was new, at Fort Tusken, another female avatar was wearing a white suit with pink panels. And it looked surprisingly good, so I went out and got my purple set when I could afford it.

For PvP, unfortunately, there's only one choice these days, composite. I like the brightgold or coppercolors myself, but sometimes I used the light blue colors for a change.

The ability to make grenades was in Beta, but during the development process, the developers nixed the idea and gave grenade making to Weaponsmiths, where, really, it belongs.

I'm Rifleman (just browsing other threads atm hehe) and the military backpack with my T-21 and dark green comp on, makes me look like a 'swamp soldier' and an all around bad @ss Dosh!

I'm a happy commando, though I must admit that I haven't logged into the game in ages... I've been having too much fun with Battle for Middle Earth, HL2 Deathmatch, and Battlefront.

PS. I think Gandalf is a commando in BFME.
