Ok am I the only one that thinks grenader as a title for a branch that has nothing to do w/ grenades, is a little stupid? my idea for the title is (drum roll please):

FIRE BAT

Ok so it's a blatant Starcraft ripoff, but who cares it'll never happen anyway.

I agree that "Grenadier" is ill-fitting for a flamethrower user. (Grenadier meaning "soldier equipped with grenades", among other things)

However, "Fire-Bat" is not a rip-off. (unless you intend it to be)

Batman fought a guy named Firebat, there is a military jet dubbed the "Fire Bat", and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I would post another idea, butI can't think of a better one at the moment.

Change Heavy Weapons 4 Title to Man-At-Arms. Change Acid Spec 4 to Expert Commando. Change Flame Spec 4 to Pyrotechnician ?

Personally I like the man at arms thing in there somewhere thats a cool title.

I like Firebat a lot, but just "Pyro" would be really cool, won't happen though.

And on a side note, a flamethrower was actually designed for taking out light targets. Specifically unarmored people. It's pretty useless against a tank, particularly modern, enviromentally sealed ones. Against people its great, it's area affect, it does severe damage to the targets, continues to damage them after the initial hit, can spread to collatoral targets as the initial victims run around, has beneficial secondary affects (particularly in enclosed spaces), can temporarily blind those it doesn't hit providing cover for allies to move forward, and is a great psychological weapon as well. Using it on a gnort, or a dancer, may seem overkill, but honestly, if someone lights you on fire, are you going to be thinking about much else at the time?

Grenadier was a title given to German soldiers who used Flamethrowers back in the world wars. I don't know why, but maybe it's cause they blew up like a grenade when shot. lol
