I dropped master today, along with the trapping line and most of wayfaring. Master just wasn't helping me, and although /conceal was nice, I mostly hunt alone, or with people who also have /maskscent (yeah yeah, I know.) I'll be dropping the rest of wayfaring as needed, and then probably frontiering, although I really hate to do so, as it took so freaking long to get. The last line I'll drop is tracking, as /areatrack is nice and, although everyone else seems to think otherwise, the boosts to harvesting really are helpful, and I've been making quite a bit of money lately on wooly hides for armourers and meats for BE.

But hey, at least I have that nifty badge now that says I did master it.

lates dude. but, wish i was master last night. went hunting at the nightsister cave and could haveconcealed the group. instead, just outside the cave,we got ambushed and almost died! i've never been master ranger myself and have been working on it since about August or September. some day i'll get there!

I have a crate full of Dath camo. Don't know if I can still use it or not, but I guess I'll find out.

you can use any camo kit with wayfaring 1. all you need is the /conceal skill. it won't work very well at all unless you have wayfaring 3, since that's where +40 comes from, and you will only have +40, so i suggest you invest in be clothes if you are going to keep wayfaring 1 and try to conceal-sneak around dath

Mastering Rifleman but no way im dropping any TKA (since I dont have the power tree any more), so dropped the master title and acid tree.

ironically, I still do what I did before, no difference at all. the 25 melee and range defense loss isnt even noticable.

Trust me, I've had thoughts, but I just keep hoping for something to go our way here. I guess the only thing that stops me is when we got the damage mod, I almost went over to BH since I had just begun commando anyway but I figure I would just get there and theyd do something to it just like commando, and I hear they did.

At any rate, we seem to be losing the focus of the nerf herders as they move to TKA and the dodge/defense stackers, so I'll just stick around.

Sorry but this is ridiulous, the devs gave us 250 skill pts to use as we want. I notice alot of us with Master Commando, Master Rifleman, and Pistols 0-0-4-0. Is that not dabbling? Flame away, but get off your high horse. Build a character however you want.

Most of us are just giving Tac a hard time...don't take the dabbling calls seriously...

To be completely honest, unless you really want to be a Master Commando for the sake of "Being a Master Commando", sad to say, there is really utterly no reason to get the entire Acid tree...heck...you are pretty much as good as a Master Commando with just the Flame Tree...if there was another profession I was partially interested in (besides Commando and TKA) I'd drop Master myself...In fact...I was a 4|4|4|0 Commando for the longest time until some small fixes finally came in...until then I felt I was wasting my skill points...

I'm also still Master Commando with faith...I have faith that someday we'll see some or all our Top 5 requests come into being...although I have to admit, TH's recent post regarding extinguishers has hurt that faith...the fact that he could push for such a huge Commando profession changing effect without even one word to us directly has made me question if he even gives a crud about us...His actions speak more then his words ever could...
