For the detenation droids, what is the max range for setting it off? Seems like I have to get within 15m to do it....is that right?

You should be able to set them off at 150m out, unless something changed recently.

Thanks...I must be doing something wrong...

1) ready the droid

2) call the droid

3) tell it to group

4) target enemy

5) tell it to chase

6) right click on droid (upper left under my name), select detonate.....says I'm too far away detonate

I'm not sure, but I think there's a command you can /tellpet to get it to detonate.

Max radius of a bomb droid is 17m...the max range is short if you use the radial menu...the trick is to use /detonatedroid command to get the droid to detonate from 150m away...you just have to have your droid targetted...just create a /detonatedroid macro in your f-buttons and hit it when it's within 17m of your target...and while you are at it, if you really want to take advantage of it's "exploitability", make sure you are more then 90m away from the bomb target before detonation...doing this will make sure the target doesn't aggro on you...

I'm still pushing for 2 changes though...

1) reduce the detionation range down to 64m (or even 70m) to fix the non-aggro exploit

2) make it so that when droids/pets/vehicles are deeded, they only go to the datapad and not into the game world...from the datapad they can be then called...droids/pets/vehicles currently can not be called out from the datapad during combat, but if you use a new deed during combat you can get around that restriction.

Not sure the min/max...but I've seen a MSE droid (which takes one detonation module) do anywhere from 2K to 7K damage in some screen prints I posted a few days back...

The damage type is Blast...

Remember that in PvP there will be about a 75% reduction in damage and then you have to factor in armor reduction...

Still damaging regardless...Skunkworks on valcyn sells droids w/ a base of 10k blast damage..which is delt in 2 5k blows...

thats 2,500 dmg for blast....if you have 80% armour...thats only 500...ok, for 6k thats stupid....but 500 dmg in PvP...even with 3k ham...is substantial as no time delay/no ham costs...and you can be firing while detonating....

So JUST like how our entire proffession is..."support" the droids do that, faster and more efficient than us...

It's been long enough, has Lord Seckmoth recovered yet?

I posted in another thread that TH needed a week to get back up to speed after E3...He still hasn't posted the answers to the May 5th questions (the 19 Professions before us) since many of the Correspondents wanted to discuss his answers further before public posting...

TH will post the May 5th Answers this Wednesday, then he will post our Answer the following Wednesday or Thursday...Normally many of us may feel upset by this, but I'd have to ask, which do you want more...A rushed answer, or TH to take his time in responding to us to better our chances of getting a "real" answer...Plus, as we get closer to the CB test publish, TH may just have more answers to give us...

Honestly, I'd prefer the rushed answer. If we give him more time, he'll just do what he always does: completely rephrases an old post of his and adds a new word in it.
