Thread: LP LAG day. Hear our words or hear our LPs!
I want to see how bad of lag we can cause/add to the coronet spaceport area in sort of a protest idea. The thing is, I want all servers to be syncronized so they know this is a well organized event so we need a busy time on say saturday that we all can go to the coronet spaceport and just launch LPs at each other, with maybe a corner to dive around once you start getting beat down and some medics onhand. Just a continuous berrage of explosions.
Even if it doesnt wrok and cause a lot of grievance, I think it would be fun if we can get enough people doing it. Hey, I pay to have fun, so Im going to have fun damned it.
count me in :-) not so much with the intention of causing lag, but more cause it'll look awesome, even at 1 fps.
it'd be easier if we could gather a few strong pets that have high ham and high resist, and just blast them instead of each other; with Doctors or BEs healing up the pets.

Ok, I let this sit for the day hoping to get more people. We need to allow more time it seems to get more people and get some other professions involved that want to be heard.
We need at least 4 I'd say for every participating galaxy. Then we will come up with a date and break down into to our galactic groups to organize.

Im thinking around 6pm Eastern time on a saturday. I want to get even more people yet still befor I think up a date but I think saturday is a prime day for number of people to make it.
Hopefully we can get enough people on every server to have explosions going on around the entire area inside and out of the star port but if not, we can just cluster up in front outside between the starport and crafting stations.
I 100% guarantee that al this will accomplish is the Dev's nuking our LPs...do we really want to bring that much attention to the Lag our LPs are cappable of producing...think about it...I don't want to spoil the fun...but the Dev's have made the statement over and over that they make it a main goal to reduce Lag...
If you create more Lag, they'll come down on us hard...kiss the LP bye bye...or at least our animations....Read the dev's reasons for the Vehicle times...Read the dev's reasons for shuttle waits...etc...all to attempt to reduce lag...Create more and all we accomplish is we show we are a high Lag producing Profession...something I've seen other players complain about before to the Dev's....
I still believe the best way to get their attention is to get them to come to us to explain themselves...and to do that we need to keep sending them PM...or like other's have, find their posts and nicely invite them to come talk to us...etc...keep asking...keep sending the PMs...eventually they will come...Look how many posts TH has made recently in the DE forum alone...
