Thread: Anyone else addicted to swgcraft?
I can't speak for others, but I've always found SWG craft unreliable, and am too lazy to update it myself.
Example - I am on 3 HOOOOoooOOOT HOT resources - one of them *might* show up on SWG craft half way through its spawn cycle.
People rant and rave how they love the site for finding resources, but I just don't understand it, I get more up to date information by doing my own galaxy sweep 1-2 times a week.
Me me! addicted I be.
Chilastra has been without any quality class4 liquid petro for so very long, I check daily hoping...
As far as swgcraft reliability, it is a volunteer effort. Chilastra is fortunate in having several fast and frequent posters (I'd name em but I'd miss someone and get in trouble) for everything but animal resources on about every planet. I rarely find something that's not already posted.
By comparison my alt character (on an unnamed galaxy) finds that galaxy's updates late or missing. I think it's no coincidence that the price of crafted goods runs higher there. I thank my lucky stars that the galaxy my crafter-self chose has such dedicated and unselfish crafting professionals on it.
So, if swgcraft isn't updated frequently enough for your needs, be part of the solution not the problem and add something some time!
Hmm, interesting dichotomy, and I think you must be right.
I am capable of making a TON of cash in game, but need to do a fair bit of my own footwork.
Kind of the difference between capitalism and socialism no? Onefavors a few RICH folk who work their butt off at first and then coast on top, the other tends to favor a middle class. Could be a fairly interesting business class study.
I was looking it over earlier, but I have heard bad reports about it from guild members..
I guess I will give it a try when it says a good/usuable resource spawns

I sure wish more people on Scylla would post updates to it.
For those of us who don't have the time to make an entire galaxy sweep 1 -2 times a week (hell i'm trying to play a master cm, gathering and harvesting my own resources, and somehow work my way up to master carbineer, all while only playing like 2-3x a week, and yes, i know about the skill points) it is .....
