Thread: Does anyone know if + combat medicine use skill tapes still drop?

I have a +2 from a ways back, but I have been scouring skill tape auctions and vendors on many galaxies and I just cant seem to find any.

i see a bunch of them on vendors on TC, but i would assume that it's a lot harder to get on live

They might still drop, but even if they do, they won't work. The + med use and + combat med use tapes will show the enhancement in your skills window, but do not actually grant you the increased med use. They were disabled and are supposed to be removed from the game, so save your money.

To back up Obata, it has been confiremed by the Developers that not only to Combat Med Use (and regular Med Use) tapes and clothing not work, they will not be made to work. The CM Use tapes in particular are highly exploitable (think of it in terms of a regular Medic being able to use Ranged stims.) So these are little more than oddities if they are still dropping. And if they are still dropping that is a bug that should be reported, because they really should not be.
