Do any of you have any good suggestions on where to find a CM crafting guide? I checked the links in the stickied FAQ but they all seem to be broken. I am looking for something that tells me what attributes I'm looking for in resources, lists the schematics, ect.

Thanks in advance if you have any helpful information.

I am working on one that is going to be pretty sweet. I will post it up here when I am done with it

If I could figure out all the crafting formulas I would even program an experimentation simulator, but it seems like it will be pretty hard.

Griggs that experimentation simulator would be a godsend. As for the guide, I just find it very difficult to know what attribute you want a high rating in each material. I mean what I understand is that the highest OQ isn't always the best, but with so many ratings on all these different resources, I dont even know where to begin figuring out what I need to work with. I guess until such a guide comes out it's just trial and error... hmm...

Yeah. There are a lot of things that don't work as you would think either. For example, say you are crafting something like a bio effect controller that needs organic and inorganic materials and experimentation is 66% on OQ and 33% on PE. If you used something like a petro fuel with really low PE for the inorganic you would actually lower the combine even if the OQ was real high. Reason is that most inorganics have no PE. If you use a metal that has no PE, the weight of the PE in the organic is counted twice. It is pretty complicated. There is a good crafting guide stickied in the doctor forums that has all the math on there. It will give you a migraine, but it makes sense

Hehe I think I got a headache from just trying to comprehend what little you told me. In the end it was worth it though because it made sense. I think a good crafting guide would be a really great asset to the community now that I see all of this is much more difficult that I had originally anticipated.

Thanks for the info! I'm off to the Doc forum
