Thread: some CM questions....

I'm currently a master doctor and master carbineer but with the new charge shot nerf (please no discussion on that what's been done is done) I'm looking for some alternative ways to boost my capabilities in combat with upper level spawns and PvP,I was looking and I was curious if I would be able to apply upper level poisons with only novice CM (since I have the med use of a master doctor) or if there wa a line or two in CM I'd need to go up? Looking at skill templates it looked like I only need novice but templates can be disceiving (sp?) . <just to note I have ranged support 1-4 in marksman for carbineer> I'd really appreciate the help, thank you.

No doc skills do not combine with CM skills. if you were to go 4/0/0/4 CM that would allow you some descent range for applying your posions/disease and it would give you +75 cm med use... might needs some good skill tapes to boost up your cm med use to get you better posions/disease, but that's what you'd have to dabble to be halfway productive in this field.

so a poison counts as combat med use?


hmm that makes this more interesting, thank you


how far up would I have to go for a range that I could hit a target say 25m away with consistency (for hunting krayts and such)?

Novice should get that


But just to correct the other poster, combat med use skill tapes do not work and do not drop anymore, basically it allowed non combat medics to us ranged stims and stuff, so the devs disabled them.

ok so with that I'm hearing novice is ok, but then I'm hearing need 4/0/0/4 (see above if wrong), so I'm a little confused, if I get novice that gives me the range that I need to apply to a krayt as I drag incapped and dead melee cgaracters away, but to get upper level poisons I need to get a high enough combat med use?


sorry about the number of questions and the confusion but all the people who I knew who used to be Cms quit so i have no one to ask in game

Ya, you'll need to get 4/0/0/4 in combat medic to be able to make it worth while, 4/0/0/0 so your poisons don't completely suck, and 0/0/0/4 so you can actually use good poisons. But you don't need to go up the range tree if all you want is that short range.
