I consider it a bug thus any combat medic that does it is exploiting and thus is ignored and reported.
Poison alone = no incap.
Disease alone = no incap.
Together = incap and pretty much death since they will continue to tick for another 10 minutes or so.
If anything it will get someone's attention to the problem.
As long as it can be done, it will Im sure. Just like vehicle repairs via shuttle and shooting through walls. If you ignore and report every cm who does this Id have to assume you dont enjoy pvp much.
Ill bet someone calls you a CAREBEAR in this thread heh. I'm actually for a CM nerf of some sort, but reporting everything you consider an exploit has to be a bit of a burden on the customer service people who have to read your inane tickets.
Not really much of a carebare if you read any of my other post. The fact is that CM is having a dramatic effect on PVP and the only viable recourse right now is for numerous people to go doctor.
I do infact enjoy pvp, this is why I dislike combat medics. Pvp on Ahazi has been ruined by them. Quite a large number of pvpers (most notably imperial) have stopped due to the unmitigated, undefendable damage.
Today myself and 3 friends ran into a CM. He died soon as we caught up to him. What happened? Myself and another eventually were 3 incapped by the poison/disease bug. One was stuck running around with a disease. The other was fortunate to be out of range of the CM.
If poison/disease wore off once you were incapped, then fine. If they wore off once the CM died, fine. But there is no way in hell that someone should be able to kill a group of people 5-10 minutes after they have died. If thats not griefing, I don't know what is.
Now you'll say something about damage over time, etc. And? Flames suck. Bleeds suck. There is no way in hell that a profession that requires a total of 14 skillpoints earned through combat (which amounts to a whopping 30k combat xp) and has enough skill points to master any range combat profession should cause this much havoc on groups. I am about 5 seconds from going CM, getting my hands on insane poison/disease (which is very easy in my case... including a lot of prenerf venom) and making sure to black bar and grief every overt or tef imp I find. Maybe if I piss off enough people, the devs will pay attention.
The sad part is this was something that was brought up within hours of them putting the CM patch onto live way back when that supposedly prevented incapps from poisons and diseases. It was reported by our correspondent at the time, and the devs neither removed the initial post nor commented on it.

Bring a doc with you then. Not that hard to do unless you don't smart PvP. The devs want to make sure that docs have a place in PvP. So right now it looks like CM is how they are doing that.
Ohhhmy favorite age old argument...
Other: I don't want to pick up doc
CM: then don't
Other: but you have super attacks that can only be instantly mitigated by a doc.
CM: we have no attacks only dots, and what about your dizzy, stun, intimidate...
Other: Well you have realy powerfull dots (ignoring the state effects totaly, which docs also cure)
CM: So what?We also have no defenses or damage mitigation
Other: So pick up a combat profesion
CM: ??? WT|-|??? I am suposed to pick up a profesion to offset your attacks but you don't have to do the same thing?
Realy, this has been hashed over and over already. And in other threads here on the first page you can find that you only need 1/5 of your group to have doc (which still leaves enough SP to master most other elite combat profs.)I Know I am a doc and can keep myself and 4 others going in a good, smart, efficient PvP fight against even the most insane uber poisons and diseases.
Oh and as to griefing what is the definition of griefing? Please enlighten me on this issue. I thought it was doing things to be a jerk. CMs have one freaking way to hit other players and that is through their DOTs. So now lets see what should we tell the CMs? No more useing both poison and Disease? CMs you are no longer able to incapp other players? CMs you have to pick up doc and cure everyone after they have been hit by you? Ohh and if it is wrong to use a DOT that sticks around after you die, can't a flame do the same thing? Remember that CMs have never been declared a support only class by a dev. Ever.
I encourage you to PvP against smart PvP groups. Even with your Uber fire spider venum poisons and diseases the battle will go on for a long time because they will have docs to immidiatly clear them of the poisons. If they are smart in PvP some of the docs will be CM/DOCs so that they can /revive; /healdamage; /healmind; and they will have a fully functional PvPer back up and running. So I can keep a group of 4 other PvPers up and running full time even under heavy attack from CMs.
