I am looking at wanting to go more pvp, currently I am a TKM, I never made it to master Doc, while the healing and buffing skills were handy, I really don't need them, our group has our own 24/7 person who is always doing it for us as long as we keep her supplied, that leaves me to this question, is a TKM/CM a viable template? I would love to have all around fun, I'm not looking to be uber or anything I would just like to have a fighting chance when going pvp as well as pve...I looked around but didn't see much talk about a TKM/CM combo.....anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks!!!

You can master one prof and take 3 lines of the other when it comes to CM/melee. There are HUNDREDS of 'is this template good' threads in these forums, many of them on this page. Many of your questions can be answered there.
As for which prof do you master and which do you take 3 lines in......it's about 50/50. If you have a reliable source to get the CM meds, I would prolly go with mastering the melee class.

One major benefit of TK with combat medic, above fencer or swordsman, is that healmind becomes a lot less scary to use (and more useful) when you can meditate your mind, focus, and willpower wounds away.
As for is the template any good, as mentioned, there are several good posts about template questions. In addition to that, you might want to peruse the FAQ. If you are going to dabble in combat medic (and master TK), there is a post or two there about what you can expect and do. (I think it is the latest reply, and hasn't been officially added to the FAQ yet.)
Edit: similar useful information is also listed at the (as of now) end of the "Re: 2442 CM dabble question..." thread

I'm not the dabbler type, if possible I would rather go full bore into it.....as for the nightmare of searching here for CM templates I was getting a headache looking at them all LOL, my main thing was wondering if it was even viable.....or if anyone was doing it
thanks for the help

MCM/TKA 4404 I frequently used healmind and meditate to keep my group up. I used a nastily modified D18 to help me land suppresionfire so I could catch up to my enemy as they tried to kite me. I would routinely lay on state attacks, used center of being and warcry to my advantage along with my AE poisoning capabilities. Using Dizzy lunges I'd lock my enemy into a dizzy loop so my poisons and diseases could do the dirty work as they flopped like a fish. The targetted attacks for the different pools is a big bonus. Decent for PVP and PVE.
MCM/0444 All the power and defenses but no meditate, PB or FOW. Firestrike swears by it. Great for PVE but not in PVP.
MCM/4440 Horrible for tanking and PVP imho. You really need the melee/ranged defenses as well as the UT for tanking in PVE. The loss of a mind targetted attack is bad too.
TKM/CM 4404 Good overall if you plan on your primary damage being TKA. However on a raid you lose alot of damage and range bonuses that you get at Master CM. Decent for small scale PVP but not large scale.
I've tried all of the above and finally decided (after a brief stint as a CM/Rifleman) to go back and use TKA 4314 as my secondary profession. I lose KD2 but I gain a bonus to speed, damage as well the /unarmeddizzy attack. I still have Melee mitigation 2 and the rest of the defenses available to a Non Master TKA. Recently gave up TKA completely for Fencer though to try something new.
