Anyone know whats needed to assemble the jetpack? i mean... do you need to be an armorsmith or something to assemble it? or do u just need all the parts...? If u just need the parts and any joe blow can assemble it, then ill start collecting them...

Well, speaking for myself, if somebody gave me a jetpack i wouldn't object to taking it... ![]()
But as Texxie said, we don't know anything special about jet packs. (It would be fun if you needed a combat medic to properly mix the chemicals in a jet pack to make it work though... although an artisan or weaponsmith would be more appropriate of course.)

I know he's in the wrong forum, but just stop and think guys. 5 CM's with jetpacks in a 5m spread flying over a battlefield dropping area C mind Poisons. Talk about "Death from above"!!! We would rule no-one would stand a chance. I want one for sure.

My understanding is the jet packs are just another type of vehicle, so you could not fire or do anything while using them. Otherwise, the battlefield would make no more sense, as a rifleman could fly to 65m, headshot, and retreat, in essence kiting all but powergamers who also had jet packs.
Are jet packs actually working, Pahdbacca? The last word I heard about it was "what is the 5th component, there have been no confirmed sightings of it".

Jetpacks are supposed to just be another vehicle type, with most likely the same restrictions.
And, as of yet, I haven't heard of anyone creating one yet.

I agree they are another vehicle, but couldn't Boba Fett use a weapon whilst using his jetpack? Also, don't you have your hands free whilst using it, thus allowing you to use a weapon?
