I just attained both novice Docter and CM. I'm curiuos to hear from those that have climbed both trees. What route would you suggest? Eventually I plan on taking both to Master but what trees would YOU take first if you had a chance to do it again?

F this pile of crap heap, slimmy, no jedi having, short and lifeless Han-Solo Chewbacca , Luke Skywalker wanna-be rebel overpopulating, Imperial underdog, armor over encumbering, developer carrot dangling Jedi, loot dry, 10k Ham mob having, infested AE mind deseased, sewer of poison while incapped, eyeshot spammed tumor, muck of a game.

Mantus Redlag, playing Daoc and making sure to troll this flop till my suibscribtion runs out.

For CM, go up the support line as fast as possible, at least until the third box. That is where you will be able to use Ranged C's.

All of the A and B level CM meds are pretty useless.

Id go up the Range and speed tracks about evenly, and of course, go up the Crafting Branch as fast as you can manage.

On the Doctor Side, Id go up Wound Treatment all the way to the 4th box first. The Wound Treatment line will give you the Buff skill AND the Resusitate skills, which are both very awesome.

I got more XP with the doctor line. Of course, that was when you could heal pets, but I never specifically sought out pets to heal.

Doctor meds take less resources, and are easier to make.

So, My suggestion is doctor lines first, at least until master surgeon, where you can rez. Once you are high up the doctor tree. Getting those first 3 lines of CM will go really quick.

Either way, do one, then the other. It'll go a lot faster.

Don't neglect your crafting. Grind if you have to.

This is really dependant on your play style.

If you want to be more in the front lines dealing AOE & rangedheals / poisons and enjoy the offensive side more you probably want to master CM.

If you like buffing and rezzing as well as superior healing on both the Wound and Damage sides(without much range or AOE) then Doctor is for you.

Personally, I liked the CM Tree the most due to the offensive possibilities it gives. The only thing missing that I think is very critical for any medic to have is the ability to rez. So I'm Master CM + All 4 Wound Treatment skillsin the Doctor tree.

Hope that helps you out in building your character.
