Aside from mastering medic and marksman, and then going into Combat Medic, where do you put the balance of your skill points? Do you keep some in Scout so that you can still extract resources and have terrain speed and negotiation?

Do you put some into an Elite combat class such as Pistoleer?

Please give us new guys a tip or two. I ask around, and get some great views on where they should go, but would like to know after your experience, what saves your butt at the end of the day, either when soloing or working in a group?

There is a reason CM's have to have range combat support IV. Suppression Fire! Warning Shot! etc. To get away! If you have your stats set to heal a lot and fast than you most likely can't take getting hit very much. I really wish that we could give up poison etc for AOE stun or blind something to get agros off us.

But what has saved me is a fast weapon! I went rifle so I use a spray stick with a speed of 1.4 sliced. Spam suppression fire and run. Stick and move Stick and move.

Man, Suppression Fire with a fast scout blaster has saved my but so many times when i got aggroed running to harvesters and such......

I was so happy that I got such a awesome and usefull skill for having to grind out all that combat XP for Ranged Support 4.
