Combat Medic Archive
Thread: I need some serious advice from the pros.
I am only going to have 43 points for combat medic. I need to know what I should spend the points on. I dont know what the stuff does but I am going combat medic for ranged heals and the poisons. I dont really care about any wound healing or stuff like that.
Its a compliment to master carbine. What do you all suggest I put the points in to allow me to heal fairly well and use poisons.
I have only 43 points. I know it takes 63 to master combat medic. Any advice as well as a full layout like ranged healing 3, support 4, etc is MUCH appreciated.
Thank you.
Personally, id say go Doctor. CM starts enew with its own combat medic use. U already have regular medic skills from master medic. Ur better off continuing it with doctor.
But, if you really want the CM, id say go up the support chain to its fullest to be able to use the best ranged heals/poisons you can without master CM as an option. U might skip the crafting side altogehter and rely on salesman, or friend CMs to provide you with the packs. And the distance and speed is up for grabs. Id say speed is more important than Distance.

I'm a master carabineer myself and master combat medic.
As suggested below I suggest you take up a doctor vs a combat medic, as the class is very expencive and not 'dabble friendly'. The non class C poisons and diseases are all but useless. As with not needing wound speed enhancements.. The combat medic class itself offers no ability what so ever to heal more wounds.. or heal them faster over a master medic. (wound pack B's
In short if your planning on dabbling my suggestion would be to go the doctor route and get some buffs and cures .. should leave ya with a few spare points to toss around aswell as doc is a fair bit cheaper
Well it depends if you want to buy your poisons or not. If youfind someone willing to sell them to you consistantly at a price you can afford forgo the crafting line and get 4/2/4/0. If you want to make your own supplies the only real option is 2/0/4/4. At 4th level crafting you'll get the only really effective poisons. Don't get speed since range not only increases how far you can throw but also effectiveness.
You might be better off going with Doctor though
