Anyone who is a CM and knows the stats on spider venom im sure wants to have it, but us as a class we need to set the amount at which it will be paid for. We can determine this price by not paying outrageous prices for it, i have seen some, that i have to say, ppl are slap crazy to spend that amount of credits for something that will not last forever. So you think about it before you place your bid and hopefully we all will band together before we all look at spider venom being worth millions of credits when it should not be. Its too ez to get. Don't make this item the insta - rich type of scam ppl are trying to make it become.

yep....happened to me too!! I'm with you....if I don't loot it...I'm just screwed because I am not paying for it again!

I have refused to buy any as of yet, the prices are ridiculous. So far all mine has been given to me. And its great stuff but hardly worth the prices I've seen. In addition I lost 2 to a critical failure as well.

I will never buy it again. I had two crit failures with the stuff in a row when I tried to use it. Talk about a hard hit. I had some of it given to me and the other stuff I bought. I didn't pay too much for it though.

The high bid so far is 100k for each lot. This is just ridiculous that CMs have to pay this much for loot that is rapidly expendable.

Agreed, there was an auction on chimaera of6 with 200 power. Went for 350k!
That's going toadd about 2k per throw!

oh my my! 350K is just sooo much!! be happy it isn't 5+ million for dragon pearls that die out just as fast. and no i'm not a jedi.

oops don't know what happened there, paying 750k for 3 venoms, and i have heard they have a high critical failure rating?

I my opinion spider venom has hurt those loyal to the profession, as any dabbler ( as stated before ) can use AoE poison twice the effectiveness of resources we have gathered in the last 3/4s of a YEAR!
I always really enjoyed this game because of the idea of crafted items made by people, not looted stuff being the best you must sit and camp a certian area just like every other game. If SWG continues to go this way, many of the hardcore crafters, included myself I think might find themselves in the position, on why continue.
I am curious on how many agree.

Err that's got nothing to do with this thread. I don't care if jedi pay too much for their pearls, that's their own problem!!
CM is mostlya pvp class, and what return in money do we get? Nothing!
