So heres my thought. Shock Wounds (battle fatigue) can range from 0 to 1000, and at some point the accumulation of shock wounds will lower the effectiveness of Healing Medicines. I think it's about 500BF where the shock wounds start inflicting penalties.
I feel that Shock Wounds should enhance the effectiveness of Combat Medicines. Think about it like this. You've got 2 guys standing by the Star Port. One of them is in top physical condition, 0 BF. The other has been eating the floor in the cloning center all night, has 400 BF. I throw a tasty little disease on the 2 of them.
The guy with 400 BF would not have as much of a chance to resist the effects of poison and diseases, thus incurring a penalty. Maybe to effectiveness, say giving a 10% increase in the tick value or something. Maybe it would directly affect resists. This could apply to all resists maybe. you get 500 BF, all resists are reduced by 25% of your normal max resist. Get 1000 BF and your resists are reduced by 50% of their max.
