Thread: What is the difference between and area stimpack and a ranged stimpack?

a ranged stim pack is thrown a distance at a friendly target, and heals that target.


An Area of Effect (aoe) stimpack is thrown a distance at a friendly target, and heals that target AND ALL FRIENDLY TARGETS within its AOE radius.


Example, throw an AOE C stim in the theed cantina. ALL of the friendly or neutral /afk macro entertainers get healed.

And if any of them are overt members of your faction, and you're covert, you get a TEF!


One of the fun things to look out for when tossing heal bombs in the cantinas! But the XP can really flow in when you do this. It's not unusual in Theed or Coronet to rake in 750-1000 and more med XP on one toss healing acton bars of the AFK entertainers.

Be careful area stims are really buggy and lots of times hits everything but you are aiming for...


I carry both singles and areas to be safe.
