Thread: CM is a great class and makes the game fun!!

First off its just a game, period. I enjoy being able to craft things for myself and try to make them the best I can. In addition what some people seem to miss is the devs want variety. CM's force PvP groups to include Doc's in the mix. They want involvement on all levels. They want us to develope strategy and enjoy its rewards. Pavlonian response anyone? CM's force people to re-think how you go about things in group battles. I think all the other combat skill classes owe us thanks that we have chosen this skill!
When we were all noobsall the Rill incapped us did we cry "Nerf the Rill" no we became stronger and worked our way up. CM's keep you on your toes and want to have a Doc always near.The Doc's become more in demand, then the resources become more in demand and so on down the line.
Is it really fun to stay in your safe little world where you always win? Adapt and overcome. Eventually if CM is really all that strong than everyone with become it along with Doc's everyone will be throwing the poison and being cured and in the end CM's will be an accepted part and one that adds to the enjoyment of the game. I die most of the time when I PvP and I never felt any class should be nerfed because of it. It made me determined to get better and if and when I go Overt I'll be ready to fight if I choose to.
Bottome line, its a game, have fun.
p.s. this is my first and last comment on any politics or comment on the game other than how to play it.

I agree, I just started a new character and the reason that I chose combat medic was because I would get to make my own weapons and poisons etc. and my character's life would depend on how well I made them. That's what got me back into the game... and you are completly correct, it's just a game, it's my hobby outside of college, girlfriend, family etc. but some people take it extremely personally. More power to you but don't ruin the game for others with unnecessary griping and whining plz.

Yeh CM is great....until you yourself get poisoned and diseased and you're like "omg nerf it!!!11"

Understand your point of view, try being a Doc and gettin dis/poi spam it aint enjoyable and its turns me off the game as it does many others. I hope as has been said the new combat revamp changes all this and tones things down a little. One thing I certainly dont want is CM to nerfed/ruined like CH has been. Lets hope SOE have worked hard and well and thought this all out so BOTH sides can have fun together the CM and the NON-CM
