Hey guys, just picked up CM and am getting close to master. Heard some things about being able to stack different packs? Like Poison b's and c's and disease, and that disease will incap....

Any advice on pve and pvp and how you stack? I would imagine if your throwing a b and c pack that you have each seperate pack on the hot keys?

Lastly, what are the best mods to get as a cm? Range, effectiveness, speed????

BTW, I'm on eclipse and if there are any cm's that have extra tapes or plates, I am in purchase mode. Thanks for all the help guys.

Can't tell you much about mods.. never used tapes (i'm still to noobish for that stuff ).

But about stacking:

In PvP Staking Poisons and Disease is the most "effektiv". The two together can incap the players. Some see it as a bug (including me) others think it's in on purpose. *shrugs*

During my Cm time I had a total of 8 Hotkeys for this. Single Poison and Disease in both B and C versions, and Area Poison and Disease in B and C versions. For PvP you will only be useing the C versions (and depending on the situation area or single) because of the strength, so its easy to make a macro that will throw the poison and then the disease.

PvE is a different matter. If you got the time you can lob all 8 versions onto a MOB and watch it tick to death (carefull: MOBS do not die from poison/disease like Players do in PvP).

I never bothered long with A packs... just to weak to be effectiv (both in time and money wise).

So in a nut shell: You can stack each different poisons and disease on a single target. Thats a total of 12 DOTs per Ham bar (looks really funny if you manage to get all three bars ticking with a grand total of 36DOTs *laughs*)

I'm going to assume he does, I have my cm ranged, area, disease and poison packs all on hotkeys. Just drag and drop.

For PVP I keep the following hotkeyed: AE Mind Pois C, AE Health C, AE Mind Disease C, AE Action Disease C, Single Mind C, Single Mind Disease C, and a 96m AE Mind Poison in reserve. I ususally don't bother with Bs unless there are alot of NPCs about.

I usually open with an AE Health C followed by an AE Mind C. Then I toss another AE Health C followed by AE Mind Disease then AE Action Disease. The thing to keep in mind is:

  • What is a CMs counter? A Docs cures.

  • How fast can a Doc cure? Every 4-5 sec

Here's the kicker and the reason I toss my poisons and diseases in the above order.

  • How exactly does a Doctor's cure work? A cure is based on the rated effectiveness of the pack. It will consistently heal poison tics for a set amount of damage, plus the doctors bonus, every time.

  • Can a Doctor cure a Health poison 400 tic and a Mind poison 200 tic with a 600 rating? No they can only cure one type of poison at a time.

  • What order are the poisons cured in? Health, Action, Mind in that order.

From the order I described above I hit their raid with health poison. While their doctors scramble to cure the Health poison I hit them with a Mind poison. By the time they are able to cure health on everyone their minds are starting to tic away. Same thing with disease. Once that chaos ensues I start secondary stat diseases such as Willpower or Stamina. Keep in mind disease will only blacken up to +1 of their base stat not the buffed stat.

The reason I don't use same stat disease with a poison other than mind is because I want their minds to blacken to remove them from the raid. It effectivelybuys our team the time to take a base down.
