Why can't you guys start banning people for trolling our boards? 75% of every page on the CM board is calling for nerfs! This board is un-useable at this point for what it was intended!

When this started happening with the other boards, you all recreated the system...in regard to live, in concept and so forth...why can't you do it for us?

I look at the rules and it says that trolling is not allowed...so start banning some people!!!

If 75% of each page is calling for a nerf, then maybe something is wrong. And it should be dealt with.

First it does not mean there is something wrong. It means that there are tons of uneducated people out there that do not see what the combat medic is all about. What makes us tick (no pun intended), our limitations, and the bugs that effect us.

Do you know that CM takes the second greatest amount of skill points to aquire. The same number as commando?

Do you know that the CM weapons are charged weapons that get used up when they are used?

Do you know that these weapons need twice as many resources to create as the best FWG5 pistol out there?

Do you know that the resources needed are well the most difficult to aquire? Tolium for instance was not available on Ahazi for a 3 month period.

Do you know the CM profession has no way of obtaining the cash they need to obtain these resources?

Do you know that the CM profession has no defense modifiers?

Those are just some of the many limitations that effect us, couple that with the lowest DPS output in the game and you have a well balanced profession.

Are there things that need to be fixed? Yes there are and they should be fixed in time. YOu can read any number of other posts on your own for those.

whatever...but the thing is you are obviously not a cm so why are you trolling our forum getting in the way of valuable info for Combat Medics....troll in the GCW forum

If you see a troll thread, don't respond. Report it and move on to better discussions. The Mods can't be everywhere all the time, so you've gotta do what you can to help them.

I agree with the bannings/deletions. Tempest had tons of threads deleted for people naming scammers and cheats. Chilastra[sp] had tons of posts deleted and accounts banned over spamming/trolling. I say go to it Jeassa. I want to use my forum.

Otherwise we could do something like the Jedi's did. Have our own private forum, and the only way to get on is to be proven to be a CM who has good intentions on the board.

I reported a troll yesterday and it got locked promptly.

So if you encounter one of our beloved denizens-under-the-bridge use the following RL macro:

/onestar;
/r This post has been onestarred and reported for trolling;
/r Thank you for your time, now don't come back.;
/report;

It felt a whole lot better all day after the thread had been locked.
