Thread: is not going master CM a viable option?

im hoping to go CM/Rifleman/Doc but im not sure what i should use my skillpoints on. im thinking
CM - 4004
RM - Master
Doc - 0440
would i still get any poisons/diseases worth having with only 4004 in cm? or should i go master and save points on rifleman?

Well... you would get Area Bs and single shot Cs. And if you know someone to sell them to you and money is not an object, by all means try this out. You will be slow in dealing out your poisons and heals though with no boxes in speed.

I would say that the CM would be a waste of time right now. You would rarely use them as you will find out you, will have the guy down with your rifleman skills before the poison even ticks 70% of the time. Might as well go master doc/master rifle in my opinion. That way you dont have to burn all the money trying to buy poisons.

well im thinking that this is maybe more for PVE than PVP, so the poisons would help in taking down high HAM critters.

Better to go Doc and buff yourself. You also get state clearing.
Poisons can be helpful for PvE but they are way underpowered. They should clock in at somewhere between 4 and 8 their current damage for PvE. You'll still need buffs to last though and getting rid of Dizzy and Blind can be sweet.

By my count, that's a great template, but one problem...you need 251 points for it.
It is nice in one sense, it gives you another type of damage to deal - and with rifle bleeds now useless because of the double nerf, disease/poison become a good substitute.

o man i hadnt noticed the -1 one skillpoint...i supposei could drop M rifleman, but then i lose ranged mitigation 3

Drop 1 spot in CM range instead. Ok, so you have to get in closer... but you'll get damage mitigation and the higher rifleman speed. (From what I gather the Master Box is really vital for rifleman, but I can be wrong about that)

yeah thats what ive decided to do, unless anyone has any +1 skillpoints SEA's they can give me ?
