And of course, give us back Combat XP for Combat Healing and Applying DOTs.

I'll be fine with that.

Actually 85% of the CMs could care less if they made our support tree based on combat XP. Several of us have already suggested. Be prepared to give us some mitigation when that happens though...

/agree

in fact i couldn't agree more. i think that ALL the benifits of a combat class should come with Combat Medic.

Damage Mitigation
Defences
Special Weapons Certifications (not talking about med use ability, i am talking about getting weapons of our own like the T1, Jawa Ion Rifle, FWG5, Sonic Pistol, Scythe Sword and so on
)

sure, make Combat Medic a Combat class based on combat XP, but yes they will in fact have to give us back the ability to earn combat XP for using poisons and diseases in combat, after all that is our combat style.

looking at these posts looks like the answer to your question 'you wanna be a combat class??' is a resounding YES, we want to be a combat class and have ALL the benifits that go along with one.

the real question is do YOU want us to become a combat class...i mean really, is that what you want?

Shrug, I already play a CM as a combat class, apparently I'm one of the few posters on these forums that does...

yes Gnuut, you have opened my eyes to a few things about the class that i am going to explore. and i thank you for that

that last line was intended to make the original poster think long and hard about what would happen if the Combat Medic class was suddenly endowed with all of the benifits of a combat class, not what happens when you add a combat class to Combat Medic. adding defences, weapon certs, and mitigation to the combat medic class itself (not through adding another skill like TKA or Rifleman) might be the last thing this person really wants. i just wanted them to think about that fact.

Lol. Considering we don't actually get the DBs, we're a support class, plain and simple. GGFGT

Just came to my mind. We definitely are a support class.

Then again, I usually view heavy artillery barrage as supportive fire.
