Thread: Would 75% poison/diease reduction stop the cry for nerfs??
You need to base your arguement on factory run mass produced items not one offs.

I would still say yes as they will complain that they havent been a doc and still will inevitably have 1 mind same as diease as there is no defense to really stopping the poison.
We spend so many points on getting to master that we have room for one more reasonable proffesion.
As soon as the defesne stacking hits live publish the influx of CMS are going to be tenfold

As this undoubtably will be the uberist proffesion along side

I also wonder if they removed area poisons would it be a good idea???
I personally do not use them as it just ruins pvp imho
Would that also help the nerf cries go away????
Or will people not be happy untill we are a stim pack healer only and have to spend140+ points on them??
/rant off getting fed up with all this nerf hurding and name calling in game it really needs to stop
The nerf calls for CM will not stop until there is nothing better than Class A poison, and Class A disease, with NO area of effect.
I'm pretty confident.
I looted a pair of Spider Venom that was 466 power on the day the cave opened. Thisallowed me to makean AOE poison that does almost 1300 per tick mind damage. The developers blundered when they put something that strong in the game, just like they blundered when they put mind fire in the game.

That's 100 damage per second, not many classes don't already do that.... and with a 75% nerf That would be nerfed to 250 damage every 10 seconds, which would then be 25 damage a second...LMFAO if you think that's balanced.

Using rifleman capablities as an example to defend from CM nerf cries is totaly moot. You can defend against a rifleman, you can't defend against a CM(no the +defense stuff for posion/disease does not work). A rifleman faces not only the defenses that there target gains with their profesion(s) but also the resists of their armour.
And grouping with doctors is also moot. Try being a doc running around curing 5 other people and themselves, chances are most if not all will die.
As far as pvp battles go the side with the most CM's wins no matter what, unless of course they are attacking a group of (any combat prof)/Master Doctors and players should not be forced to go this route to be able to defend against cm's.
Players should be able to defend themselves against posion/disease without going Doctor or Combat Medics should be toned down.
