I'm finding out being a Master Doc and close to master CM this is a tough combo to handle the amount of time to look for resources and understanding componets is mind breaking. CM is no joke! I have done a good search for alternative resources in making advance componets to no avail. Looking through the search history many ppl have ask same question without any replies. So I'm asking again but this time I'm printing the page and adding it to my notes.

Would someone be kind and give Alt resources for advance comp including loot drops from creatures? BTW I know about Rancor bile and Spider V., are their any others?

Why is this class so closed door on the boards? I gone to Doc forum and theirs piles of information but here everything is top secret atleast information is very broad.

After two years gone I returned.

It's not that the board is closed doors, it just that we have a lot of nerf cries. This means that "useful information" is quickly washed away and hard to find, and by nature people are cynical of posts, and tend to not respond unless directly challenged.

To answer your question, there are no alternative resources. I do not know about all other crafting, but when the system says it wants tolium gas, it wants tolium gas. No substitutions (which yes, makes combat medic crafting one of the hardest in the game, as we have a lot of rare resources which are combat medic specific so hard to find for sale).

For lootsubstitutions, I believe there is a list in the FAQ. If not, to the best of my knowledge, we have:

1) Rancor bile, replaces a dispersal mechanism (you gain maybe70 uses but lose 20 range, many combat medics find this trade not worth it)

2) Spider venom, replaces an injection amplifier (depending on stats, you gain mayb. 50 - 100 effectiveness points)

3) Donwuka's poison, replaces an injection amplifier (you gain maybe 20 potency at the cost of 30 effectiveness, definitely not worth it in the current framework of the game)

4) Modified dispersal mechanisms, replaces dispersal mechanisms (depending on stats, you gain about 5 range and 5 area of effect)

Of these, 2 and 4 are useful, 1 is arguably useful, and I don't think you could get a combat medic to use 3 in a poison without paying him or her (or if there is no titanium aluminium or eleton gas on your server for advanced injection amplifiers).

Thanks for your reply now I can stop bouncing planets. I guessI'll use the new droids and find these resources and I agree with you most I see is nerf threads but I read Gary Gattis's update on SWG future and CM aren't getting nerf so I wish they stop trashing our forum. I'm asking all CM to stop replying to nerf threads in this forum so we can focus on CM progress. We 'CM' destroy minds which is far greater then physical pain so don't get tricked. Keep disease alive.
