Hello there I looted this +7 combat medicine assembley belt off of a merc on lok and was wondering if this would give me a great bonus in crafting poisens/disease packs?

And how much might one of these sell for if i need the cash?

And finaly I am a nub to this profession so any tips for gathering resources and crafting would be awesome thanks

you'll see less failures and more great success, I've just bought a +6 assembly sash for 400k. think I'm up to about +22 assembly now and get a hell of a lot of amazing success and great success.

For how much you can expect to get for the sash, the answer is that it is galaxy dependent. You are best checking on your galaxy's trade forums. (Also maybe using the search tool and see what other CM assembly items have sold for recently.)

As for resource harvesting, you should check the FAQ stickied at the top of the forum. However, for advice:

1) *Always* be on the lookout to harvest Titanium Aluminum, Eleton Gas, Tolium Gas, Class 2 Liquid Petrochemicals, and Class 1 Radioactives, it *any* quality. When we say it is hard to find combat medic resources, we are serious.

2) Try to find a good vein of Yavin fiberplast, insect meat, fungi, and non-ferrous metals. In general, overall quality is the most important statistic, followed by potential energy, then decay resistance.

3) Check the website www.swgcraft.com, They have a fairly up to date list of what resources are available, and what is needed to craft what.

Thanks guys

ButI have another question if anyone else reads this......Last night me and my buddy were dueling so he could test the pvp damage on his new swordsman move and I thought it would be funny to slap a disease on him (I know that is a sick thing to do to a friend) anyways it did nothing. I was like whats going on I must have gotton ripped off cause I bought a bunch of supplys from a friend. So my friend starts laughing at me and like 1-2mins later BAM! 400 damage BAM! 400 damage BAM! 400 damage and his mind bar was black lol. The way I know it was more than a minute was that he incapped me for about 120 secs and it still didnt tick for about another minute afterI got up. My question is how do I know how long it will taje for a disease to tick by examinging it and if there is any way while crafting disease to lower the time it takes to tick cause I have seen disease tick alot sooner than that? Or is it cause im not master yet im currently 4-4-2-4?

If this post makes no sense please disreguard it since I am very tired at the moment thanks.

A diseases duration is written on the medicine if you examine it. The number is time in seconds.

The tick speed is constant. Lag not included, poison and disease will always tick at the same rate. (This is why none of the combat medics believe a person when they say "I was diseased, and 20 seconds I was blackbarred".) According to the FAQ, a disease will tick every 40 seconds. (I thought the formula was more like 40 seconds, then every 30 seconds thereafter, but never bothered to remember the exact number, so am likely wrong.) If you are *sure* your disease did not tick at that speed (or anything near that, taking in consideration lag and what not), I would try to reproduce it, and submit a /bug report (and let Texxie know).

Incidentally, if your disease was ticking for 400 (especially at non-mastery), either you bought some rather good spider venom diseases (congrats on finding it for sale for a decent price), or you should tell your friend to take care of battle fatigue more often. It sounds like he or she is running around with something like 400 to 500 battle fatigue, which is rarely a good idea... (If you want to have somefun, find a creature handler, diseasea bigpet, and watch it tick. It's remarkable how fast battle fatigue increases disease damage.)
