try not to let 'em bug you. it's just kids who've afk'd wookies for 2 weeks to get to knight and can't figure out why they get their a55es handed to them by by more experienced players who've learnt to use their templates.

Im not a Jedi but a BH/Pistoleer and I beleive some tweaking is needed in all healing professions including Jedi... Battles last to frickin long... Took me like 10-15 mins to kill a CM, the guy just kept healing himself.... And I had a krayt pistol that did 520 DPS... Finally got him down toabout 30%health and did knockdown before he could heal himself yet again and finaly I killed him.... In my opion and even the Dev's said this, thatDuals would only last around 2-5 mins max... this is not the case with how strong healing is.. Im not saying to nerf heals, just make it so people can only heal themselves maybe 4-5 times back to back before they have to let there mind Bar regen.... As it is now they can pretty much heal themselves forever..


Also another thing that needs to be adjusted is a longer cool down timer on REZ'ing people. We had a huge imp/reb battle last night and it went on forever also, because soon as we killed somone they were rez'ed seconds later. Between all the fast rez'ing and powerful healing, it seems nobody dies anymore... And yes I benefited from this since I died like 5 times, but never had to clone... Problem with this is it takes away from the fun of the game since nobody really wins (unless one side extreamly out numbers the other)....


personaly I dont know why SOE thought they needed to add more healing power to healers, shold of kept it the same, and just reduce the hate created by healing, that was the real problem... But leave it to SOE to go to extreames again....

It isn't the Masters that need nerfing.



It's Healing in general.


Improved and Advanced mean NOTHING.

Ok I want to comment to Mic, I know that these guys that have taken up these Fotw temps are hard to beat but thats always what happens when something new comes out, the Cool kids grab the flavor of the week and like to beat everyone with it. You see way back in the old days us CM and docs were actually needed for a fight but then we got the big nerf bat with the massive buffs and guys could solo the world. Then they changed that but jedi were the main healers, ok we lived with that a while, but now we finally got our good heals back and some guys are taking advantage of it.


When I first got my good heals for CM, the jedi in my group thought they were tanking better lol, it was just because I was healing so well. This was great, I was able to do what I was made to do again, help my group and do it well. Then the BH's saw how they could use this and they used it well, they have a right to anyway, but as stated the docs/CM are not to blame.


The H's are not healing as fast as the jedi may think also, they are popping ruby bleil and using a stim B and that heals for a ton, this was the old trick and uses no mind, at least I think. There are jedi temps that can beat BH's very easy but some won't listen, they would rather whine on forums, those are the same kind of BH that whine and they end up getting each other nerfed lol.


Anyway it gives me some good nerf BH/jedi reading while I am at work hehe, always funny to read

I think whenever we talk about Jedi fanboys crying out for someone else to be nerfed we should remember this.

Jedi players called for Rangers to be nerfed!!!

Now I think that tells us all we need to know.

The main reason I think why alot of jedi want healers nerfed is because. Quite simply. A BH using CM or Doc can quite easily keep up with THEIR healing. It's why so many BHs pick up some of doc and CM. It's the only way in hell you could ever solo a jedi. Recently there was a CM/Rifleman/BH combo that came after one of my guildmates. The battle only ended when he managed to KD the guy before he could heal again in that case as well.


But so what? BH are as I recall from all the crap spouted durring the CU's arrival. -supposed- to be able to go toe to toe with a jedi on a 1v1 basis and have a fair chance of beating them. Of course instead of giving BH's defences specifically against Jedi. Whcih seems to have been the orrigional idea. They just gave them general all around high defences etc. Couple that with a healer. And that gives you a pretty damn powerful profession.


Hell i've done abit of BHing myself with my MCommando/MBH. And if my template had left SP open for any decent healing ability at all. I'd jump on it myself. Cause that was the one thing I found jedi really had over the BH template. That they could heal rather considerably. While they slowly pounded my HP to nothing. And best I could do in counter was pop the occasional stim. What they dont seem to realize though is that by using a partial CM template there is a trade off. Your defences are not as high for example. So you get hit more often. But the trade off (at least if you go CM) seems worth it. gives you 3 heal options. Toss, Spray, and stimpack.


I think the main way to adress this issue though would be for the advanced heal types to actually -count- for somethign. I think some oen pointed out that low level CMs could potentially heal more than a master CM or at least just as much. Which is... frankly borked in my oppinion. But beyond that. I think CM as a whoel needs that healing power. Afterall your trade offs are pretty heafty. No ranged/melee bonuses to speak of that are notable. Couple it with a second profession and you get -some- stuff that helps. But you need to heal yourself more often to counter for the fact that your attacks/defences are not as high as some one who goes all combat stacked.
