having not tried or really seen the effects of eletrolyte drain (basic)can anyone give me any advice - i would loose about 200ish pts of healing goingfrom 4000 to 2000 per Bacta toss/spray/shot (not that bad). i just havea hard time taking on some mobs/pvp with absolutely no 'root' type attack other than leg shot and a breif KD from underhand shot
1)is the basic electrolyte drain a complete stop of movement or a slowing?
2) how long does it last?
3) will SEAs help?
4)what is the cooldown like before i can re-apply it?
5) would more medical warfare efficiency help in this skill- i could use extra froma SEA?
thanks all

It's a snare. It only slows down movement not attack speed. Paralyze stops movement completely.
2) how long does it last?
About 90 sec at Master, scaled down I'd say 45-60 sec for a non Master depending on mod.
3) will SEAs help?
Bio-Suppression Efficiency tapes will increase duration.
4)what is the cooldown like before i can re-apply it?
About 10-13 sec.

No you need Bio-Suppression Efficiency to augment debuffs. Medical Warfare Efficiency only augments DOTs like fire and poison.

For PvE, I'd go for MBH, MR and 1/x/x/3 CM for Improved Drain.
For the drop in healing, use ruby bliel and Stim D instead.

good call. just checking some figures (from the stuff worked out on one of the other posts with formulas and tables of post 19 stuff) spray/shot/toss will still hit for 1200-1500ish at 1003CM(as opposed to 1500-1700toss/spray/shot at 4000CM). sad mind, just grinded up there 3 days ago. doh! would be an even better idea when the bacta toss "not a valid PVP target" issue gets resolved

would i be right in thinking electro drain breaks with damage? or is it like pistoleer 'root'?

Electrolyte drain doesn't break on damage and it doesn't quite root either. It slows movement speed by about 40% or so.

Not as good as electro and crippleshot from carbineer though : )
Who needs a root when it takes them 30 seconds to move 20 m

This thread answered some of my questions. Looks like CM 1003 is better choice than 3001.
