Im a master Bio-Engineer and was wondering if Enhancers give a big enough improvement in your skills to justify the materials needed to make them? I know right after the CU, the Enhancersonly gave like a 10% bump in power. Is this still the case?If so then I guess there still worthless considering how much material it takes to make them. Or has the new patches bumped up there power?

Any input appreciated...

Thanks

I know that using a enhancer for my DOT duerium(?) toss causes it to hit for 70 more per tick, and while that may not sound like alot, but in PVP 70 points makes alot of difference. So BE's keep them coming cause they are definantly worth it.

Bacta Toss Enhancers are always good to have.

I use Dtoss and neurotoxin DoT enhancers along with the bacta spray enhancer. While I'd like to have a bacta toss or debuff enhancer I can't afford that hinderance. The enhancers make the cooldown timer disappear so I have no idea when its ready to go or not. In PvP or hight content PvE that isn't an option for me. I use bacta spray rarely in PvE and only occasionally in PvP so I'm not so concerned with the timer showing.

the offensive enhancers are the best thing since sliced bread, personally i feel the basta ones to be utterly useless. im a MCM MBH 0004 pistoleer, my healing efficiency is +115 so i can bacta SHOT for over 1500 points of damage. i never use my spray or toss anymore, only when grinding to healp others or in big PvP battles to heal me friends. i remember the first time i used enhancers (crappy one i might add) i couldn't kill this jedi and he was just toying with me so i finally tried them out and bam dead jedi (this was pre patch 19 I might add)

i use enhancers for toss/spray and fire/poisen

also use enhancers for jab

but i agree with Keorythe, on that the loss of the cooldown timer can be deadly..... My only advantage is i heal so much i know the timers by instinct now... it's just when server lag eats me up that it stinks....

so to answer the OP question. Yes enhancer's are worth useing, just differs to everyone on which ones are worth useing.

personally i'm still trying to workout how to use enhancers - ie: you target a groupie, hit bacta toss at that moment you get hit by a creature so you immediatly target the creature - no bacta tossing that! so you get "thats not a valid pvp target" and get told by developers/csrs that its "working as intended"

If you're targetted on someone then you should not shift targets when attacked by a creature automatically. Target acquisition only occurs if you aren't targetting anything at all.

Additionally, the only time you get a "not a valid pvp target" is if the person you're trying to heal is one combatant class higher than you. Make sure your entire group is either on leave or they are all combatant, etc.

It is like this if I understand it correctly. You can not activate the enhancers on the normal icons or macros that come with the skill. You have to use the enhancer like the old stims or area stims or poisons and such used to work. You have to USE the enhancer ON the target that you are wanting to use it on. In other words, put one of the enhancers in your toolbar, then target someone, then click on that enhancer in your toolbar. OR right click on the enhancer in your inventory and you will see the "USE" choice come up.

That uses one enhancer on each shot you want to give, or whatever. So they get used up, unlike the endless normal ability.

The Dot enhancers are useful, however I find the debuff ones rather useless. Just my 2 cents.
