I'm thinking of mr/mcm/0400 squad leader for the defenses. Any idea how this would work in PvP?

Hey, I am Master Combat Medic/Master Rifleman/Squad Leader 0/0/0/4 on Valcyn. May I suggest that you ditch the idea of squad leader as it is SOOOO useless. MCM/MR are powerful enough but if you are going to go any other prof with those extra Skill points and you want to get something in the scout line, may I suggest BH?

Squad leader is great for enhancing group function and the CM adds to its effectiveness. Its definitely a strict decent support template since the personal ranged mods are so small that you wont be doing much damage yourself.

The only downside is that you'll be doing alot of multi-tasking with it and it might be hard to move and do that. Sometimes its tough enough just keeping your group healed. However, if you're up to the challenge (it might not be too bad) and are looking at this being a thing for you and a group of friends then go for it.

Squadleader isn't great for a single person but in a group I get all fuzzy inside....the accuracy helps my Plasma Flamethrower too

Im 0004 SL just for taking bases along with m carbs/MCM

It works good to retreat from a ton of level 88-92 npcs or when your getting turret spammed

Rally is also good for pvp...

Actually, I just did the 0400 squad leader for the +40 ranged and +40 melee defenses gained. I'm gonna rely on rifles and cm to do the damage. I was just wondering if I would be better served in PvP spending those skill points on more offense or if those added defenses are best. If I calculated correctly, after I master rifles and cm, I'll have a ranged defense of +225 and a melee defense of +160 with this template.
