Thread: Rifleman/MCM vs Rifleman/MCarbineer/CM 4400(or another non-heal line)

I am just curious how well these do pvp MRM/Mcarbs/CM 4400 or one of the debuff trees seems like it could devastate but perhaps I should just go master combat medic..... I really don't know . I mainly want to deal massive damage and cause havoc to groups and im not sure how effective combat medic dots are now I played in Pre-cu when combat medic dots owned hardcore but not sure if they got nerf-batted this go around in their effectiveness( I already know no more AoE dots). The other thing is why go master combat medic when I can get heals+dots or debuffs that stick once I get up into the trees. Basically im asking what the advantage is of mastering combat medic with rifleman over mastering 2 elite ranged and getting 2 trees in combat medic IF I want to cause lots of damage and havoc.

MCM + anything is a very fun template that requires a lot of timing, its an art you could say, not everyone can handle it. But truely if you group PvP often then Carbineer has some awesome AOE attacks and a AOE mez or snare I think. So if you are concerned about dealing dmg in groups, go MR MCarb CM 4400 or CM 4004. Otherwise if you wouldnt mind being a great asset to your own team then go MCarb MCM RM 4004 for the AOE of Carbines and for the healing and rezzing ability, maybe even consider MCarb MCM RM 4000 and Medic 0440 for the ability to drag corpses.

There are very few bad templates. The trick is to find the style of play that fits you. I personally have 3 different combat characters and each one plays very differently. I find MRifles/MCM/Pistols 4040 very fun, but for a change of pace I also find my MCommando/Msmuggler/Pistols 4044 fun to especially in solo PvE it's a bit more challenging when you don't have that healing built in.
