Combat Medic Archive

I see post about poison only doing 1 HP of damage, where did you people read this at, I can't seem to find that update. If this is true, then SOE totally blew the combat medic class, now we are just doctors with ranged healsand no ablity to rez, I mean jeez why would a doctor even need cure poison now if it only does 1 HP of damage. With everyone eating spices or getting buffed by a doctor this 1 HP is stupid.

During PvE, poisons will reduce a targets HAM to +1 point. The final 1 point of damage must be given by some other method to cause the targets death. I am only guessing but I believe it is the same for PvP. This new system was included with the mounts and player city patch that is currently on TC, there are no patch notes yet so I have been reporting what I can dig up during the short periods that TC is online.

Thanks Kave, I'm glad I misinterpreted it incorrectly, I thought that our poisons would now only do 1 point of damage(lol). This new change doesn't seem to be to bad, I can deal with that especially with mounts coming in, Just run in throw an AOE poison on the baddies wait for it to do its thing while you run out of range and then run back in to take care of the last point needed to incappacitate.
