Well I was the second master Combat Medic on Chilastra, With the news that FS slots took mastering other professions. I decided to get out of my safe place in the game and try out new things.

I was trying out doctor because alot of people seem to like it better. I made it to 0-4-2-4 in just one evening. I tried to play with it and I can't stand it. I missed my combat medic skills already.

On a lighter note I got a holocronabout an hour or so agoand am on my way to become a master tailor, though I'll probably finish off doctor so i can check it off the list of possible skills i need to finish.

I can't wait to come back to combat medic, there's just to many things to try in the game and only one character.

Best of luck to everyone

That is the only thing that bothers me about this whole profession thing. I was two thirds of the way to CH, and BE, when I decided to give up the points to become a Doc/TKA. I just hope, that I don't find out later, that I should have finished these two first.

I was a bit into doctor but i've been a medic long enough to know how to get the medical xp at a pretty good rate. The only thing I didn't have mastered that I hae started was that and marksmen. I think the profession thing is pretty neat because it gets you out of your comfort zone and into something different.

Holocron's give you a tip on how to unlock your force sensitive slot. I'm now about a 2-4-0-4 tailor now. Talk about alot of resources and work heh. Still need to get a nother one so i can find my next proffession to master. My guess is that it takes about 4-5 random ones to unlock it and the holocrons point the way.

Do what I'm going to do IF I decide to take a holocron's advice: Master all professions I currently have invested in BEFORE I make the change. My 0400 Doc will be Master before I ever say goodbye to it. Otherwise, it's a potential waste.

I love being a CM though, so I'm not sure if I will.
