So when they go to live servers its going to be OQ and Decay resistance.
The best place to check is SWGCraft.com. Look under the various schematics for weaponsmiths to see which ones are needed. There really are way too many to list in just one post. However, here are a few of the rare ones, off the top of my head:
- Ostrine Carbonate Ore
- Link-steel Aluminum
- Diatium Copper
- Irolunn Reactive Gas
- Ryll Gemstone
- Plubum Iron
- Rhodium (sp?) Steel
- Rainbow Gemstone
There are lots of others too, so check the schematics at SWGCraft.com and make a list. Hope this helps. ![]()

Yes thats easy enough, but unfortunately it doesnt tell me there what qualities I need for said schematics, when you look at a schematic in game it will say something like
conuctivity 50%
overall quality 50%
Which gives me a general idea of what resources qualities I need to look for, so my options right now are to master WS to find out or ask you guys :-)
Mate the ones edowar listed are rare! it doesn't matter what the quality of these are as the mere fact that they exist can often be miraculous. On the valcyn server we have just gotten a shift with Link-steel (its been over 3 months since the last one) in it now I didn't check before I put 4 mediums and one heavy down I just did it, I also encouraged my guild mates to do likewise because even tho I am not a master (1.4.0.4) I am not going to be able to live without it for very long. if you want % by % rates pretty much everything needed on a final combine for aranged weapon (anything in the ranged tree)will need good OQ and Good Cond. So far for melee it appears to be shock resistance that is important but I am only at lvl 1 for that tree.
There was at least 1 thread with all resources and stats required on this forum, u might need to dig some to find it though, and cant remember the title but should be easy to recognize it
The list isnt perfect as poster added resource according to schematic requirement whether resource has stats or not, i.e. gallinorian rainbow crys gems are listed under 50% CD and 50% OQ but gems dont have CD so it should be listed as 100% OQ but except that the list is quite great ![]()
Hope that helps
OK, so what makes a rare resource so GOOD? If a schematic calls for 'metal' or 'steel' then what makes a rare element more precious than another with better stats? I've seen plenty of moaning about rare resources with crappy stats. If they're crappy why do people want them so badly??

Link-Steel aluminium and Plumbum Iron also happen to be a staple requirement for some of the best weapons in game (the laser series of Carbines and rifles comes to mind), so without them you are unable to fill alot of orders. The ones for adv components you can struggle without by using high quality standard ones if you adjust your prices down appropriatley but if you cant make the weapon you have nothing to sell an make a profit on! (adv components dont sell on their own well not in my experience anyway)!
Also never underestimate the importance of malleability (sp?) as it will affect your experimintation, the higher this stat the 'easier' it is to experiment leading to better results faster.
