I probably shouldn't reply since I'm in the same boat as you, but this is what I've found out: I think it's a bug and has something to do with how crowded the area is.

It always happens to me when I'm in the Anchorhead Cantina or outside trying to help during a raid (and there are many combatants). The charges aren't used when this happens (well, not to me, anyway). When this occurs, I notice that my stamina wound packs don't work as well (unless, sometimes, I use them by opening them through my inventory and using the radial menu). Coincidentally, the rebel recruiters are all gone too, and general mayhem and bugginess is reigning.

If anyone has any help, I'd be very appreciative. As it is now, I bug it and use single ranged stims, or I simply log for the night.

secondly, yes, this has been reported before. The exact cause has never been determined, but the theory about being too crowded is probably a good one. Some people have reported it happening in other places as well.

This was a lot worse today(22 Oct) than it was yesterday. I could not land a single AOE heal in the Theed Cantina. Each time it told me that that target can not be targetted for that action, and proceded to heal a maximum of 2 people in there.

Should be said that the cantina was crowded at the time.

ok so here is what happend ...i was in a cantina today trying to get some med XP from area stims when it tells me i cant target that player for this action and stops at 1 person healed

i tried again and again it said it . so i fly to another planet to another cantina and try again this time im allowed to use them for 8 heals at which time i get the same message.

what is the problem what is going on

any help on this would be great
