Dyrth,

I'd be happy to offer my 2 credits. What you do in terms of resoruces depends primarily on how long do you intend to stay MCM. If you're going to grind it to getyour next holo voice and mvoe on, or if you plan to return to BH, that path is different I think than if you plan to stay MCM.

Also if your'e a person of means (credits) its' different still. Let me provide a fwe pictures.

The general order of progression IMO is independent of crafting, max support line first to get access to better stuff. Then max distance, and finally speed. Once you can throw Area StimBs you can be a decicated healer in large groups like Fort Tusken and earn exp very quickly.

For the crafting if you have funds buy components for the advanced infection amplifier...it's the most experience per unit.

If you have sufficient funsd and don't wish to keep wtih it you may not have to worry about harvesters at all, depending on the supply network in your server.

Hope this helps. Personally I'm tensely awaiting going home. My PA mate got a blue holo and is giving it to me when i log in tonight. I'll be in touch with my inner-holo soon and hope that I don't have to ditch CM even temporarily (i will regrind it back asap if i have to). Among my list of answers i don't wanna hear is BH...what a long grind on investigation. I wish you luck on CM.

I have not heard from the almighty holocron..... *sigh*

If you're looking to make your own meds and eventually poisons, then take some basic Artisan skills so you can survey areas and then plop down some harvesters. I just use the personal ones and they pull up more material than I can use. This way you won't have to pay inflated prices for your ingredients. Of course, if you already have an artisan in your guild, he can probably handle this part for you.

I just had an idea....I wonder if we could get the devs to issue some holicrons to some of the rebels telling them to switch sides in the GCW.... hhhhmmmmmm

Dyrth,

Seeing as how you are just going to grind it then loose it again here is my suggestion.

Crafting: get a ton of any Organic and any Inorganic, the cheepest you can find will work. Grind Biological Effect Controllers with 4 crafting kits with a crafting macro you can find in just about any of the crafting boards.

All other Experience: Buy crates of Stimpacks (B's at first, then C's when you can use them). Pick up Wound packs in crates as soon as you can use them.

Adventure with your friends and heal them every chance you get. During down times in a camp (or house or med center) heal wounds. During any dead times (no friends on) macro crafting, find an understaffed med center and heal any who come in, wonder around and find AFK macro sampelers and heal their action bars, etc. Just heal anyone you find that can use it.

* Make sure your friends know you want the healing exp. If they die, or get lots of wounds, make sure they come to you in a private house/camp to heal. In a med center you will compete with other healers for exp.

* Don't bother healing pets, they no longer give exp. You also don't get exp for healing yourself.

This should work from Novice Medic all the way through Master Combat Medic.

Good luck.

ok heres the grinding forumula... assuming you have hoardes of cash which shouldnt be too hard to acquire asa BH

for crafting... start with Bio effect controllers till you can make adv bios.. then switch to advanced. when you get adv infection amps, switch to those. use a grinding macro, cause it WILL help you out. search any crafting forum and you'll find links to a good one.

for use... as soon as you can use woundpack Bs, find a BH or a Commando, get a non-CH pet with decent ham (beetle or cowardly gurrek) and have that person toss a fire dot on it... heal its wounds and you'll be set. buy woundpacks from a master doc since they can heal a LOT of wounds in one hit... honestly, if you had a constant flow of wounds for your pet, and resources for bios, adv bios, and adv infections, you can grind it in like 1 or 2 days easy.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe you get exp. for healing pets. Your own or anyone elses.

I have a question for you....you say to make the advanced bio effect controllers as soon as you can (assuming you have access the ingredients). Is this just for grinding exp for crafting or for that actual creation of wound pacs and stuff?? As in can you use an advanced bio effect controller in the making of say a Stim Pack C???

I'm currious as I can now make the advanced controllers but I haven't seen anything that requires them...

For Grinding, Advanced Bio Effect Controllers give more exp. than regular BEC's but the componants are harder to get /more expensive.

You can use ABEC's anywhere you need a regular BEC and it will make the product better. There are no items that require advanced componants.

The quickest way for healing xp is have a buddy set their character on a tumble to stand (ranged support 2)macro and repeat. You could conceiveably max healing xp in a couple days. The tough part is the med grind and getting someone to train you or pay for the training. As said already use BECs then ABECs for grinding. BEC's take generic material and is economically more feasible.

We get XP off of healing pet wounds, but not damage. I dont know if that will change.

Dropping area stims in a cantina helps for healing xp also.

yeah, Pet damage yeilds no pointswhen healed. but pet WOUNDS yeilds normal exp. its some forumla like 2.5xwound = exp. its quite formidable and easy to do. also doesnt require much friend help... any commando/bh can do it for you. go to coronet and find a commando. wont be too hard

and yes, grind just for the exp, not for the packs. its best to buy meds off of Doctors as they can make them much better than CMs do for the time being. especially woundpacks. I can make you woundpack Bs that will cure 200+ health wounds as a master doc even if you're only a novice medic . 200x2.5 = 500 exp in one shot at novice medic. see how easy it is?
